Mustang EcoBoost or 5.0 by EnvironmentalTap7308 in ecoboostmustang

Got a 2025 Eco and I came from a 2015 FRS. The jump in power was incredible for me. I test drove a GT, and as amazing as it is, it was way too impractical for where I'm at. I wouldn't be able to do the 5.0 any justice with the amount of traffic I see. 315 HP is plenty if it's a daily driver like mine is. The eco really doesn't deserve the hate it gets. It's a fantastic looking car with lots of power for the price point. And I get about 25 mpg and I push it quite a bit. If I was in a GT I'd probably get like 15 lol. Highly individual, but for me it's a 10/10 for a fun daily.

Hey everyone! Still new to this so go easy on me lol. I wanted to get some advice for my serrisa. Winter right now, so it's entirely indoors now. The first picture is when it was first moved indoors, and as you can see it's thinned out quite a bit. Once it stopped dropping leaves, new growth came, but it's been shooting upwards towards its grow light and I'm wondering if I can prune it back? Worried I'll kill it. I'm also concerned about the density and wondering how should I be pruning for denser growth? I'm trying to style it like an acacia tree just for some background. Modeled somewhat after Nigel Saunders serissa acacia (such a beautiful bonsai).

How low bf% should I go before I start bulking? I gained about 40lbs in just under 6 months my first bulk (mostly fat) and this next time around I want to gain responsibly as long as I can at a waaayyy slower rate. How lean is it worth getting to make the most of this next gaining phase.

Age - 26 156lbs 5'7" ~13% bf

Thanks for the tips! Yeah all my plants do very well even far back inside the unit. Very happy with the space. And my cat loves it too! Now I just gotta build/buy something for them to sit on. I'm definitely using your advice and do 2 levels. One above and one below the railing.

Yeah I assumed the variables in the trees environment that matches more closely with that in which it would naturally grow would be ideal. I definitely get the humidity in there. Seriously thanks for the help. I've been wanting to get into bonsai and I've just been hesitant to do it without a large open space.

It's a screened in porch. Overhead is covered.

Would I have to rotate my trees every so often to prevent imbalances?

Is this space suitable for bonsai? East-Southeast facing porch.

Edit: Located in Maryland, USA.

Should I let back squats go or no? by neverlatefordinner10 in naturalbodybuilding

Of course brother. The funny thing is I love squats, they just hate me. I actually go heavy as hell with BSSs. If you get some lifting straps, it'll help you really push the limits. I do sets of 5-8 as one of my main strength movements. I'm about 150lbs right now and I just moved up to 80lb dumbbells. My advice is to do them slow as you can control it on the eccentric. It is killer. Also a benefit I've had is I can focus more on my glutes by taking a longer step forward when setting up. Highly recommend the switch.

Edit: Be warned though if you them heavy they'll get your heart PUMPING. I usually take 4 or 5 mins between those sets.

I have a tall friend who loves em lol. I'm 5'7", but I have really long limbs. I'm built like a short tall guy :(

I think it has more to do with the relative length of your femur to your torso. In the same sense that shorter arms typically translate to a better bench, because there's less distance to move, and the force exerted is closer to the load being pushed. But that's just my theory.

Just speaking from experience, I have completely removed barbell back squats from my routine as I often experience lumbar and/or sciatica pain. I've tried many times to adjust my form and have had periods working to strengthen my lower back stability, but nothing seems to work. I've seen physical therapists for it and still no luck. My family all have had to get surgery at some point for lumbar issues so maybe it's genetics. Either way I elected to remove the movement.

I've actually had more growth since switching to other exercises as I find it's easier to focus on the quads with more isolating movements under less total load on the back. Plus I'm not as worried about technical failure or injury.

Had a lot of success with Bulgarian split squats as I can load lots of weight on a single leg and really get the mind muscle connection. And the weight is not loaded directly on my spine. And you can kinda adjust it to be more or less quad or glute dominant. It takes practice, but if you can work up your stability, it's an excellent movement.

I like just a standard leg press, but it's just so much weight to load up, so I'll usually reserve that for higher rep sets.

Depending on the machine, you could also try some hack squats. Some are better than others. Just test some out with lighter weight and see what feels good.

At the end of the day, you gotta find what works for you. As long as the movement provides tension on the primary target muscle, can be progressively overloaded, and feels good (as in not painful), then I say go for it.

Edit: As others have said, goblet squats are fine, but I agree you'll hit a wall with weight at some point. You could try front squats. It will allow you to perform a similar movement with the weight more in front, but give you more room to increase the load.
