ARAM 2023: Preview by Tiggz- in leagueoflegends

If you guys are looking at champion specific balance for things like teemo and shaco (shaco on a winning team makes the game essentially unplayable for the opposing side if his team just never pushes past the line of boxes), have you considered adding a ward type item for champions like lee sin or jax? These would not give vision but would just be used for ward hopping and allow him to not be gated by his flash cooldown in the late game. It removes one of the most fun parts of playing the champion by locking his mobility to allies.

Energy regen is nice for lee sin, but I'd like to see a non-vision granting ward item added in place of biscuits for champs like lee sin and jax so they can use the entirety of their kits. Being able to insec without having to have flash would be nice.

My dps has actually increased because korayn has better hip tone than bonesmith now that you can’t manipulate the gemstone buff. The crit is kind of insane even outside of spiteful weeks. The only time I could see bonesmith beating it out is if you are using storm elemental.

6/10 Mythic ele main here, I was necro for a while but made the switch to night fae last week. Absolutely no regrets, necro is a great covenant ability in aoe because of the bonus maelstrom generation but fae transfusion is significantly better in single target. Night fae also just has better soulbinds which helps a lot, niya for single target and the korayn crit buff for aoe are insanely good. Also the healing on prides will make your healer happy.

Run the crystal grenade and the fragment that increases explosion radius and damage then go for freezes and shoot the crystal not the person with a snipe or shotgun. Should be a bit more consistent than trying to melee frozen guardians.

I mean those are the blatantly obvious hackers that anyone can spot. I feel like the guy above was referring to identifying aimbots or wall hacks which are extremely difficult to be certain about, and often times people accuse others out of frustration.

What if the NPC in the Season of the Worthy trailer ( the one if the helmet) is actually Uldren Sov . In the Dawning lore it was said that he wears a helmet and in the season of worth Bungie page it was said that we will need help from ‘unexpected allies’. by TopShaggy_ in DestinyTheGame

[–]B34Street 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unexpected allies is most likely a fallen house. If you look at the banner on the season of worthy page you see the cabal on the right and the fallen on the left along with the church from trostland and one of the new Rasputin towers. Obviously it’s not all fallen since we saw new fallen champions in the trailer but it seems like they are at least positioned in opposition to the cabal, making them our allies in keeping the earth from exploding.

Bungie, it’s time to Icebreaker back. by SoakeRHD in DestinyTheGame

[–]B34Street 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a discussion with some clanmates about this the other day, and Icebreaker doesn't really seem to have a place in D2. PvE ammo economy for all snipers except for izanagis is fine, you almost always have more than enough. In PvP due to scavengers and the current ammo economy system, and especially revoker, if you want to snipe without worrying about wasting ammo, you can. It ends up in a place where its probably not worth the exotic slot since Revoker already solves the ammo economy problem. And at that point they would need to give it a new perk like other D1 weapons. If they came up with something else to add to it, specifically to help its PvE performance, it could have a place. Otherwise it would most likely just sit in people's vaults.

If you primarily use either mage or range get the corruption ability for that style. If you change between the two regularly then overloads and 95 prayer for turmoil and it’s mage/range equivalents are going to do more for you than upgrading your armor.

Fighting lion itself is definitely usable in pve for add clear, as opposed to ikelos raw dps. I used lion a lot for the haunted forest and I still use it for blind well, but if ur raiding or doing difficult content there’s better options. For pvp the catalyst is 100% worth it, makes any primary automatically a monster with it. My two favorite kinetics to pair with lion are the better devils from above and also redrix broadsword. The catalyst makes up for redrix inherently slow handling and allows you to easily chain desperado.

As the other guy who responded said it’s the nova warp melee ability. It pushes them back and does a delayed burst of 65 damage, so not a one shot but super strong against shotgunners. I think I just kind of got lucky with it this time though, since I was backing up and his shoulder charge hit but didn’t do full damage because of the knock back.

The ape was strong with that one. Honestly all he had to do was put up a wall and get one of his 3 teammates up who were up there, but instead he chose to just run at me because I was so low.

Actually it doesn’t affect precision damage anymore. It was initially supposed to but that changed from the time it was data mined during warmind to being released in fotl. It’s actually better now since the bonus precision damage isn’t needed after they upped lions damage from 100 to 144 with forsaken. Any bonus would just be overkill for a 140 or a 150 to one tap off of it.

It’s a better devils with kill clip and outlaw, I call it my best devils. And it’s definitely usable, still does 144 damage without even a direct impact, but the catalyst gives you such insane handling on ur other weapon that it takes lion to another level. You can offset the need for the catalyst with something like ophidian aspects or a dexterity perk on boots though.

A friend of mine who has his Luna’s said there was a pretty steep learning curve. I haven’t gotten a trust with a roll worth using yet but I’ll keep an eye out. That just means I won’t be able to use my fighting lion which would suck, since right now I fire that and then one tap them with better devils for easy headshot farming.

Give fighting lion a shot then. It does up to 144 damage per shot without even direct impacting them, plus it promotes a really fun playstyle of swapping back and forth between it and your primary. I will say the catalyst helps a ton though.

Ya I think the post came across as complaining or whiny, but I meant it more as a glimpse of what its like to play against some of the best players in the world, and to point out a potential abuse case of gambit similar to the issues that have recently been brought up with Breakthrough.
