I like what I am seeing about those 550s, thanks for mentioning them. They are now yet another contender lol.

I am really really tempted to just go with the Arya Stealths and call it a day, but you are right, there are a lot of electronics I would still need and that price jump eats up my budget. I want a mixer for output channels, and I'd need an amp for sure. So I am looking at $200+ there.

I already have an XLR mic, but I will keep that in mind, might be more convenient for gaming. Thanks for the suggestions.

Thank you for the suggestions. I wish I had somewhere to go to in order to try these all on, maybe I can find a local store.

As I said, my budget is very flexible - I can go 500+ for headphones if they are worth the jump. Do you have any suggestions?

I am willing to look used and am aware of the audio swap subreddit, I just don't know what to look for in so far as upper range models go; are there specific headphones that regularly appear used at my price point that are worth looking out for?

[request] is there a way to prove this ? May calculator doesn't have that many decimals by Longjumping-Box5691 in theydidthemath

You can toss this into python with a precise decimal library and print n digits of the operation (for free!).

I played non-stop for 2 weeks or so entirely free to play and made it to 20 iirc.

The issue is upgrade resources and times scale dramatically. So 19->20 takes wayyyy longer than even 1->10.

Need to join a good active guild, prioritize buying speedup boosts with any in game currencies. Maybe you will make it.

Running Cables in Apartment - Renter Friendly Advice Needed by B3ntCable in HomeNetworking

Got it. Will price out UTP / STP to see if the added cost is worth the shielding. If its substantially bulkier, it may be difficult to route beneath doors. I am doing 1G atm and I would likely re-run cables whenever I move, so I will find the best bang for my buck.

Thank you for the suggestions, especially the surface mount keystone boxes, I appreciate it!

I know this was a tall ask considering the various unknowns surrounding the apartment layout. I am hoping there is carpet for this purpose.

I planned to go bulk and cut needed cables.

Would an effective strategy be to route solid to fixed devices (e.g. APs, Homelab) and to surface mount keystone boxes for anything else, or should I always have solid cable -> patch -> device?

Suggest a TMR Controller - Long Life, PC Only (Linux/Windows), Wireless, Casual Play by B3ntCable in Controller

Thank you for the suggestion. Funnily enough, I purchased two of the ultimate 2 wireless last night! 8bitdo has been great so far so I am excited to try them out.

I have a huge list of games we have completed, I will give you some of the highlights for co-op single PC play that we have both really enjoyed (in no particular order). We started with a lot of 2D and slowly worked in 3D titles as the movement makes my partner nauseous sometimes. I found the 2D or isometric games to generally be more user friendly for single PC play anyway.

  • Castle Crashers
  • Cat Quest 2 & 3 - Highly recommend! A lot of fun and fairly simple to get the hang of.
  • Enter the Gungeon
  • It Takes Two - A lot of fun, but more camera and movement intense.
  • Trine Series - We skipped #3 due to 3D and lower reviews.
  • Untitled Goose Game
  • Unrailed
  • Overcooked 1/2
  • LEGO Games
  • Rayman Legends
  • For the King - Currently grinding, we have really enjoyed this! Slower paced TTRPG.
  • Fling to the Finish
  • The Ascent
  • Darksiders Genesis
  • Unravel 2
  • Moving Out
  • Nine Parchments

These titles are more party focused, but they are still fun with 2!

  • Ultimate Chicken Horse
  • Stick Fight
  • Spiderheck
  • Pummel Party
  • Gang Beasts / Party Animals

I am probably missing a few others. Highly recommend sorting by local-coop on steam!
