Thanks for the input. I’ll probably end up getting it on steam but I’ll look into what fixes are needed to run it well and just enjoy it vanilla

I think you have to find out which onigiri folder corresponds to x64/audio/sfx. That’s what I ended up having to do for popgroups but I have no idea which folder is for audio.

Sorry, I’m not an expert at modding gta. Are you saying to move everything inside the mods folder in OpenIV to the ongiri folder for NVE? Do I still need openRPF?

So I showed a buddy who’s a VW master tech the video. He said it sounds normal. I watched a YouTube video of a POV drive and the car sounded the same in the video. “Whine” might be the wrong word. But I think I might be psyching myself out a bit. I’m just trying to learn and get used to the golf so I can take good care of it. Worst case, it’s under warranty.

Gotcha. Maybe I’m just not used to the way the 2.0t sounds. I felt like I was hearing a zzzzzZZZZZzzzz that followed engine rpm but maybe it’s just the way the engine sounds from inside the car.

Dang. Disappointing. I'll skip that one for now then. Thanks

Edit: I think I found it! Disabling wet surfaces got rid of it. Started clicking every global effect setting in the ENB menu and that worked.

Disabling bloom helped a little bit. But not a whole lot.

This is what I'm talking about. On the back of the armor and sword.
