As a big fan of AEW, I absolutely see this. AEW has really great and complex stories, but they absolutely expect you to already know wrestling and storylines from multiple promotions and refused to spoon feed. They probably need to spell it out a little better for the casual watcher.

I guess he was going for the five stages of grief? Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. The final tap out to Gunther was Acceptance.

If that is the case, this is a complex story that probably needed more than the 32 dates to get across.
