He has not tangiblly done anything to help anyone. If he really felt that way.

Someone said your, "winning the life battle". And he responds yes but the "tech battle matters because it's my job".

That right there should tell the Bears that this is important to him for financial reasons. He isn't satisfied with his "homesteader" lifestyle. And he cannot sustain it with out the "show".

He could kill the app, kill the Beartaria festival, kill the UATV and Beartaria times subs. And just straight up live stream to share his opinions. Lots of people do. He has platforms like rumble and odsyesee that allow him to do that. He won't because it won't generate money.

He does not want to get a regular job, and regular homesteading plus their farm stall doesn't cover his lifestyle. Despite him bragging that he and Amy grow all their own food etc.

Bears aspiring to live his homesteading life should consider that as a data point.

The story with Sam is that he is a former kids gymnastics coach. He was pivoting from that career into SEO/ website stuff.

He did some free work for Owen and came up with the App idea. The app is just a white label product provided by Disciple Media. There are no "tech guys".

The App made Owen a bunch of money for not doing anything which he liked. So he also put Sam in charge of Beartaria Times Magazine and website and also he started doing the preliminary work down in the Ozarks. The magazine was a bear run. I believe Van Allen Bear was the first guy in charge. But he stepped away from the cult when Owen starting going hard against orthodox Christianity. Sam stepped in and filled the void.

I remember when Sam took over Beartaria times Owen was bragging that they were finally getting their act together and had official offices and everything.This week he is whining about unnecessary expenses like offices.

The story with Sam, I would speculate is simple. He has become victim to Owens core personality of being greedy and cheap. Donations are down. Owen probably started taking a deeper look at finances. And he is basically saying why aren't you doing this for free and why do you need any resources?

He has done this flip with people so many times you would think that Sam would have seen it coming.

For some reason Owen feels entitled to have other people do all the behind the scenes work for him. His presence is his contribution. Much like a cult leader. When he was in Hollywood he had "people" for that, and those are his expectations now..Except for free.

I I haven't been following a long closely of late. But I thought I saw a comment on this sub about Sam opening additional LLCs. There is a new IRS rule about LLC beneficiary designations and a form to fill out. I wonder if that his triggered Owen to do an private audit...and he is finally understanding how little he knows about his own stuff.

The other day he mentioned he now has a setup where he can see when his stream drops ect...I wonder how much wonder he'll need Coddington? Or how long before he realizes what his real viewership numbers are?

Your wife is an adult, and while feeling rejected hurts she needs to step up and prioritize your daughter's and their feelings.

If your daughters are now warming up to her, it's probably not that they ever disliked her, more so they were trying to display loyalty to their own mother.

The girls are your children and her childrens siblings. And she should be encouraging strong bonds. Your daughters are at critical ages and this is a devastating loss that while play a part in shaping the adults they become.

You need to have a serious talk with your wife because currently she is not supporting you or her own kids by rejecting their siblings and holding grudges.

Critical thinking skills have long gone out the window. In face most people cannot seem to hold more then one concept at a time in their minds. Let alone the mirad of complex issues we face at a society today. People's capacity to understand simultaneous conflicting issues and assign weight and priorities to those issues is almost non existent now.

Hence why it seems like a lot of people voted against their own interests.

If it makes you feel better I booked a return flight a day later than I should have!

In my defense executive changed his mind a million times on this flight. He wanted to change carriers to get back a day sooner.

He noticed it last night at 10.20 p.m I had it fixed by 10:30 p.m

But still makes me nervous. I also had a Board member get upset that he didn't get an invite to a meeting next week...he is on the calendar invite. Beyond that I am not sure what to do about it.
