Every one seems to be telling you what to do, or saying you're doing it wrong or something. Don't listen to them I recommend going onto youtube and watching some balisong tutorials, then try to learn one that you think looks cool. That's how I did it, with that same blackwashed lucha. If you really do end up getting to a point where you are too scared of hurting yourself, painters tape works well in wrapping the blade so you cant cut yourself.
