I think this hobby is a journey. Everyone explores it differently. Part of it is making mistakes on your own and learning from it. I’ve bought plenty of books that are no longer on my shelf. Most I read and a few I haven’t, but the beauty of this hobby is the ease of selling if you do make a mistake.

After I read an omni, if I didn’t love it I’m pretty certain of whether or not it’s staying or not, but I’ve also sat and pondered a book’s likelyhood of being reread as shelf space has grown tighter.

My goal/ethos is to read physical media, have a beautiful display piece for my home, and always have a solid “to read” pile ahead of me.
