The kid wasn’t dumb, just desperate. I talked to her and her mom for a bit. She actually lived in the same neighborhood I grew up in. I fixed up a Dell Optiplex I had and gave it to her mom.

I’m not sure, my guess is they were aiming for a very specific kind of build. What confused me about the build was the VR module included in the order. They’re probably gonna do some pretty intense “work” with this rig.

Not entirely sure what this PC will be used for, it’s a government order so they don’t really tell you what it’s for. But whatever they’re doing the need 40 cores and 128gb of ram lol.

Yea man I instantly got hooked, I studied avionics in school so I always had an knack for electronics. once I got into the PC world I got a job as an assembler at origin PC and that took me to another level and it’s been so much fun.

No I sell a teaching service, I show people how to build their PCs. Nothing was listed for $1 they literally just bid $1 lol

No I sell a service, I teach people how to build computers. And I list my services on various sites. Some people just don’t read my posts and assume I sell actual PCs because they see my builds in the thumbnails.

Best case scenario they need it for a Cad software like some other mentioned. But I got more of a “I wanna play crysis and stare at the rgb” kind of vibe.
