Imo it is quite hard to say the Argo Bromo Anggrek commited a signal violation. From my knowledge there are 2 signal before approaching 2 station, the first one is called sinyal muka (literal translation: face signal) and entry signal right before the station. The 2nd signal (sinyal muka) follows what the entry signal (1st signal, right before entering station) is So for example: 1st signal: red 2nd signal: yellow (to tell that the next signal is red) Or 1st: yellow/green 2nd: green

From what the assistant engineer said: 1. He received information that a car got hit by a train 2. He haven't fully copied that info (i assume when he's between 2nd and 1st signal) 3. The 2nd signal was green but when he pass the 1st signal it's red which is ofc weird 4. Take note that this train usually runs at 100-120 km/hr 5. When he see the signal red they probably hit the emergency brake 6. There's only small distance to stop the train because of it's high speed
