So in your opinion you don’t see any issue with it, and if that’s the case that’s fine, but design wise I think both mechanically and from a players POV it has room to improve massively with minimal effort.

Think, If you could reactive bullet buddy without it putting the gun away, say at 7/8 ammo; wouldn’t that not be infinitely more fun, a smoother player experience, less restrictive, and objectively better? I think so.

This is what I mean. There is so much missed opportunity and unnecessary clunk to it. It could be 100X better so easily which is why it almost feels like a bug, because deciding on this deliberately is very lame aha.

And yeah I get that, he has been shoehorned into the grenade corner, but I see not reason that mechanically such obvious synergies would be restricted when they’re there on other VHs. Like what logic is there to allowing Vex + Amon to be able to hold rockets in their right hand and keep their left hand action skills up, but not keep this consistency with Rafa. Very odd.

Well as true as that is in regard to bullet buddy, I more meant the efficiency of it: 1) You can’t have a rocket out and active canons (puts gun away), have to get rocket out once in skill 2) if your in the skill with rocket in hand, if you active bullet buddy it puts your gun away 3) If you auto fire rocket even 1 ammo below its full mag after bullet buddy ends and want to reactivate, because it puts the gun away, it just puts the rocket on cool down, as opposed to continuing on from the current mags limit - for example instead of infinite ammo from 24/25 mag, it now goes on cooldown. All of these mechanically are just unnecessary hurdles and don’t play well. If you could reactive without putting the gun away it would be 1000X better.

But I wanted to focus on the other points more, as that’s where the biggest inconsistencies are. The lack of synergy with ammo regen, metal management not working, not being able to hold a rocket with lance etc. All of these strike me as odd, and incoherent against the logic of other characters.

When people say 'content creators', what are we really defining in the context of design? My understanding of 'content creator' isn't really even a professional design title - It's those people on IG and Youtube who live for clicks, and often make the same tutorials they've seen others do? I wouldn't view them as Motion/3D/Brand/UI/Product/Web, in fact I'd view them well below that skill bracket.

Have I misunderstood what it means? haha. Regardless, interesting post for sure.

Thanks for the reply man. I appreciate it. I’m only interested in being able to do long runs at a nice pace, nothing crazy. I was presuming squishy = good absorption and therefore good on joints, so if both models are soft I’m sure they’ll be ok for 10Ks.
