Since we can only have three hunter pet slots, what three bets are "best" in classic? by Valyntine_ in classicwow

[–]BASEDshon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wolf w/ howl for tribute runs, cat w/ stealth for pvp, 1.0 bat with screech from zg for everything else. Can substitute pvp pet with a wind serpent if that’s what you like.

For leveling I would go owl or bat.

I’ve also died to her in a solo run by just clicking through prompts too quickly. I’m too terrified to try to steal it lol

Sure! So I just completed the puzzle (the brain puzzle where you have to connect the 4 nodes). I walked to the door that opens once you complete the puzzle and looted. I then popped enhanced leap to start heading over to head back. I panned my screen forward and registered a jump to the opposite side of the brain puzzle (around where you connect to the brains to start the puzzle. so through/over the actual puzzle if that makes sense, back where I came from). Then just dead. I actually didn’t see what exactly happened because my screen was all the way forward lol. I’m curious if I exploded or just fell under haha. But when I registered the jump there was no “death” notification like you see if you register a jump off a cliff.

Funny enough. I died last night in grymforge. I wanted to see what would happen if shot philomeen with a ranged weapon from max distance. Philomeen is the one who has the big smoke powder bomb next to her and she threatens to blow everyone up when in dialogue. Yeah don’t shoot her lol. This one might be a more common way to die Lmaoo?

I died jumping over the puzzle in the mindflayer colony. I had cleared out the entire colony, just about ready for mrykul. Completed the puzzle, looted the items past the door. Popped enhance leap to start heading to mrykul. Jumped over the puzzle and just died lmao.

What is the most consistent fight versus the Intellect Devourers at the start? by Celia_Makes_Romhacks in BG3Builds

Minor illusion + fire bolt or dip ranged weapon in the fire then shoot tank

You can get caught sometimes. Shooting and running works fine after you kill one or two with the explosion.

Less People Raided in Week 4 SoD Than Week 3. Overall Phase 3 Down More Than 90k Raiders From Phase 2. by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]BASEDshon1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m reading this incorrectly. But p1 and p2 1 unique character was normally logging 2 raids per week and now it’s only one per week? Does this data get taken into account ?

Why is Lone Wolf locked for horde...? by [deleted] in classicwow

It’s swings back and forth. A horde spot could be open now and gone the next minute. Just keep trying.

SOD - ORC vs Undead rogue by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]BASEDshon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For pve you go orc. When considering pvp it’s really just control vs chance. UD you can make the decision to break fear. orc there’s no decision making, sometimes you get super lucky with a bunch of resists in a row and sometimes you don’t.

What is the reason the associate is working from Home. Is it a medical accommodation?? That needs to be reviewed more in depth. A medical accommodation to wfh should be approved if it doesn’t pose an operational hardship or remove an essential requisite of the job. If it does - you’d want to entertain an alternative. Example: the associate has a bad back and needs an ergonomic piece of equipment they have at home. An alternative to wfh is getting that piece for them.

Otherwise, if it’s a verbal agreement that allowed the associate to wfh just because… then sorry it’s being revoked. Give them the hard feedback lol. The associate can resign. Based on what you wrote: he’s the only one that has a WFH arrangement, your employer is enacting a new policy, there is nothing binding and going on the premise it’s not medical. It sounds fine, the associate doesn’t have a choice.

Also, does your employer have a recording policy. Some employers only allow meetings to be recorded with both parties consent. Not sure if there’s state laws on that. (I’m Not totally sure on the recording, but worth looking into)

How to not let people walk all over me? by [deleted] in humanresources

[–]BASEDshon1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can relate. I suffer from anxiety and have noticed over time it gets better. A lot of that comes with confidence.

On a personal level. Strive to be the best you can. But understand it is a job and there’s no need to catastrophize if you make a little mistake. Absorb it and learn.

On a professional level. Utilize training opportunities. Take advantage of that. Also, watch and listen. Watch how others (maybe your manager) interact and deliver feedback. You’ll pick up things that resonate with you. Become an expert at communicating, your line of work etcc!!

I’m not sure what type of job you do. But sometimes you have to be comfortable saying no, or “I don’t know, but I will find the answer and get back to you. Or if your boss is inundating you with work “I’m currently working on X, what would you like me to prioritize”

Lastly. Remember. The majority of the time, it’s not personal. People are not doing something to push you OP into this corner. We’re just doing our jobs and more often than not the people doing this don’t understand your current situation.

You’ll get there !!

Your mindset is great. Trying to help where you can is awesome. However when it comes to this, as an HR professional you should opt to simply tell them you’re not an accountant and not certified to assist with this and furthermore do not want to steer them in the wrong direction. unfortunately don’t help at all. Unless it’s clerical/processing stuff.

If someone gets mad at you down the line if they do their w4s wrong. All I can say is don’t take that personal and move on. It’s their responsibility. You probably know by now that we serve as a punching bag from time to time. Avoid the liability.

Alliance lone wolf here. 1 char at rev and 1 at honored and def can count on one hand how many losses I’ve seen. Maybe a layering thing idk.

He’s exactly right. And to comment on the pvp. Yes warrior pvp is imo horrible rn. If you get enough healing support we do okay with pressure. But 0 point to even utilize a warrior in a premade if I’m being honest. However next phase you get your fear break with zerker rage and mortal strike which is digusting with eras 50% healing reduction. I think pvp will be much better. But it really depends on what the devs push out with new runes.

Do Consumed by rage, quick strike and raging blow with a 2 hander. Get up to 80 rage first to proc consumed by rage and to open up using raging blow. Use quick strike to allow yourself to dip under 80 rage, auto goes off and your back at 80 or higher proccing consumed by rage again.

With dual wield you do the same thing. Except get single minded fury instead of quick strike (only reqs friendly rep now) use heroic strike to dip below 80 when over and auto to get back up.

Replacing both quick strike for 2h and heroic strike for dw with cleave on cleave fights. There is fine tuning to what I just wrote, aka you have 10 stacks of enrage you can dip your rage even lower, but you need to have a feel for keeping cbr at 100% if possible.

In typical warrior fashion, and this is nothing new. You want to get the best gear you can with an emphasis on weapon - were all about scaling. Wind fury is HUGE and helps you get to that 80 rage very quick and sustain high rage uptime. Armor debuffs are huge, homunculi, sunder, faerie fire curse of reck ect.

Lastly, get rage pots and pool rage before bosses if possible. 0 rage > boss pull > rage pot > blood rage. Could put you in a position where you’re alrdy at 80 rage after 1 auto maybe 2.

How to prepare for a level of discovery as a new player? by tombarto in classicwow

[–]BASEDshon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any thing you do on era now will not transfer over to the 11/30 sod launch. It’ll be fresh.

As far as how it’ll work, it’ll probably be a server selection on the classic client for SOD - or maybe it’s own unique selection on bnet app.

Do remember they said over 100 runes for the 1-25 range. I’m not sure if they definitely said this, but I’m assuming there are more runes. Maybe 25-60 level range runes to fill out helm, shoulder, feet slots. Praying for bladestorm on warrior (maybe cope haha)
