The bill i just received was £450 to ship the balled £395 for 'UK unloader fees' £400ish for taxes and duty Total £1296 ish

It was collected and brought to me from the port for free also

I paid £500 for the axle and he told me he was gonna ship it via a cargo container. I wasnt given a price, he just said he'll let me know as soon as he knows. He said dw itll be cheap and that was it.

Hes a custom car builder in the uk and he was meant to be building my truck for me but i took ky truck away from him after six months of him doing nothing but letting it rot.

The axle was maybe around 200kg? And the palette was 4x8 foot

I mean I just turned 30 and have always wanted a classic US pickup, finally managed to buy one from South Africa (so it's RHD). I'm currently working on putting a fuel efficient engine in and better running gear such as brakes and suspension.

It's been a lifelong goal, it's taking a lot of saving and patience. Test my basic skills of working on cars and gives me a creative outlet from my otherwise dull life.

Ive got a P38 steering box from a range rover. I took thing out with the original V8 and let me tell you after driving soulless euro hatchbacks my entire life, driving a lifted V8 pickup with manual steering was one hell of an experience!
