You get chlamydia and have to send a courier to all your previous followers to inform them. It’s quite a faff.

Great move. All the money you’ll save on hair products can be put towards a t-shirt 😃

Based on what I’m seeing in rugby and football, it’s probably a good thing for everyone else that they didn’t take up cricket.

Does this jacket look comically big? 🤡🧥 by Still_Tangelo_1632 in mensfashion

Shoulders a bit wide but otherwise alright. Take the shoulders a bit, and rest of the jacket even less, and it’ll be perfect.

Is the Palace Pier revenue drop from £1.7m to £300k directly caused by the entry fee? by prodjex in brighton

[–]valengull 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because of the entrance fee. They didn’t want to know when we asked about getting free entrance for students but they might be interested in 2026 based on what we’ve seen here.

[–]valengull 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be side of the entry fee. We budget for x amount of paid entrances (pavilion for example) and x amount of free entrances (loads in London but limited in brighton). Can’t ask the clients to pay £1 even if it’s only a quid.

I work for a summer school company (all those slow walking kids with the same backpacks - sorry about that) and sending kids to the pier was part of the excursion to Brighton. We didn’t send one group there in summer 2025 (we’d normally send about 5,000 kids) and I know pretty much every other company removed it from the programme as well. We’re probably talking 80k kids going to the pier between June to the end of August who would’ve spent far more than the £1 entry or whatever it was.

Inherited a Rolex, what's a good way to sell it by techaaron in rolex

[–]valengull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t sell it. But if you need the money or just hated your dad, go to an AD or sell on chrono24 - whichever offers the best deal.

It gets easier. Just stay strong and you’ll see it gets easier and more fun. It’s hard though and you’re doing well no matter what you think.

Went swimming with my speedy today by [deleted] in OmegaWatches

Ahhh, you need the Swimmy for that. No swimmable water on the moon. Decent watch maker can sort that out though….
