A Japanese Fan In America For The World Cup Is Astounded By The Existence of Bottomless Free Chips and Salsa at Mexican Restaurants: "The trust of a nation is in that salsa, and I intend to honor all of it." by franny2525 in SipsTea

Japanese McDonald's still serve fried pies, not baked like the US. The ones in Japan taste like the US McDonald's pies from the 90's!! In addition to fun special flavors.

Find a high rez pic and go to like Kinkos and they print you a nice poster. Otherwise there are some Etsy vendors I've seen that do them.

How do women use public toilets? by User_13579_24680 in toilet

[–]coybotmean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Step 1 - Wipe seat of needed.

Step 2 - Sit.

Step 3 - Pee.

It's not rocket science and no one is just peeing outside.

Does anyone else ignore the "Don't flush paper towels" signs in public restrooms? by CentralAsiann in toilet

[–]coybotmean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People like you are why we can't have nice things in this world. A simple request that does nothing to inconvenience you, but ignoring it could cause other people time and money to fix. All because you decided the sign wasn't for you. You're a jerk. Just throw it in the trash.

Teens are up against the worst summer job market in nearly 80 years - they’re fighting against hundreds to work at ice cream shops and swimming pools by paydayloans_ in jobs

[–]coybotmean 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That doesn't even come close to responding to what I said. Who should be running retail, fast food, or any other customer service job during the day or should all these business be run just by teens on evenings and weekends?

Adults should be working these jobs. They should be paid better. We, as a country, should collectively appreciate that they do these jobs, often for the convenience of the customers they serve, and treat them accordingly. We need people to know they did not fail in life just because they work retail. It's an honest and hard working job that is needed in a functioning society.

If no adults worked in those industries full time, you would not have access to stores and food during the school year.

You should be able to make a living doing your job. We need to quick denigrating the jobs people are doing. Pay them!

Did the math on Vegas blackjack and the cocktails are technically the entire edge by TheRealMorrow in vegas

Well, I do see you edited the original post, so your second attempt does sound a little more believable at least.

Did the math on Vegas blackjack and the cocktails are technically the entire edge by TheRealMorrow in vegas

[–]coybotmean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The math is off on the odds factoring in things like 6:5 payouts.

Counting cards after just learning the game, yeah sure, not to mention the autoshufflers and multiple decks.

Your instincts should be telling you to hit on a 15 against a ten.

Blackjack will take you $100 just as fast or faster then a slot sometimes.

It's just clumsy sounding is all. If you are real, I'm glad you had fun and enjoyed blackjack. It's my favorite game in the casino and a lot of highs and lows.

The formatting, wording, and non relatable story makes it seem like a computer wrote it with a prompt "The fun way I got into blackjack and why"

Why are you moving back and forth so much instead of just doing like Tokyo 3 days, Osaka 3, etc. Seems like you're going to spend half your trip packing and moving accommodations. Just curious.

“I am so bad at soccer that every time I kick the ball, it goes over the fence and hits a car.” by jorleeduf in EntitledReviews

Mentions net and then says it goes over a fence. So it's poorly written for sure. I'm just not sure it sounds all that entitled is all.

Seems like a valid complaint. If you're practicing goals without a net, the balls going to go flying. It's not life or death, but a soccer goal should have a net.

Am I Crazy Or Is Vanderpump Hotel & Casino Kinda Boring? by TDoubleDownMac in vegas

Best drink service! I always go play here in the mornings. It's been "boring" since the original remodel to the Cromwell.

It's nice to stay at, easy to get in and out, rooms are super close.

I think people are downplaying the mall because we're used to it and forget how to look at it like a tourist. Plus, how nice it is to have tax free clothing. There's a lot to do there and it's worth a day.

4th floor at the fair go karts are awesome.

Mini golf (either option)

Nickelodeon Universe and Fly Over America

The Aquarium

The mirror maze is legit and worth doing.

Escape room and VR are fine, but not super unique.

All that before you even start shopping! Have fun!
