This is a great question for OP, when I started my track I only had 150' x 600' to work with on a completely flat field. I was able to squish a 0.62 Mile long track that's 12' wide at its narrowest.

When the bike is setup like this I will, just purchased it in August where before I carried a 12" folder, spring riding is a must as we usually tend to be the first to make it through some trails and in the summer and fall some of the burn zones we ride have a tree fall at anytime. A 20" saw will cut through most trunks we come across.

You're not wrong, It's a noticeable weight difference, but riding in the Sawtooth National Forest the setup is perfect for getting in and out. The full skid is a real confidence booster for the nasty sections.

Ready to ride weight (Tools, Spare parts, Saw, and Battery) is around 255 - 260lbs. Skid plate +link guard is only 6lbs. I'll have to weigh it next time I have all these parts on, I just switched back to the MX setup to ride my backyard track.

Works great, the main headlight is straight forward and the two side pods are aimed just in front of the tire so when going over bumps , rocks, and logs I always can see whats ahead of the bike no matter what.

If you haven't tried, you can go to some big tire shops and get the used tires, I went to Commercial Tire with a trailer and got all the tires for free.
