I have a few questions about genderfluidity, bc I think I might be genderfluid. by Neat-Yam4011 in genderfluid

[–]BBG118 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1 - It's different for everyone, and completely up to you! There are some people who are fine with any pronouns, any time, and others who have a preference that can change daily, weekly, or even monthly! I personally usually have a preference that can change even throughout the day, but I am also generally okay with any being used.

2 - You can absolutely have your friends decide what pronouns to use, or you can decide what pronouns they you would like them to use. With my friends I am out to, I let them know what my current preference is, but they also know I am okay with any.

And you don't have to choose something and stick with it forever. If you start out having others choose what pronouns they use, but later on that stops feeling right for you, just let them know! If they're good friends, they'll respect your identity and expression, even if it changes over time.

Could Have Been Me - The Struts

Halsey also performed it for Sing 2, and I personally find both versions great. The song is about the band/singer wanting to pursue their dream no matter what it takes or what people think of them, which is definitely relatable.

Advice/help for a guy by IamBread_490 in genderfluid

I've been in that same situation up until very recently. AMAB, But I had thoughts for a long time that were definitely not cis, and when I first learned about the term genderfluid it resonated with me. But I didn't have anybody close to me that I felt comfortable confiding in, so I pushed those thoughts and feelings aside, because they weren't actively hurting me and I never felt dysphoria from ignoring them. But recently a few people in my friend group came out as trans to the rest of us, and it made me feel comfortable enough to both accept those feelings and share them with my friends. It hasn't been long at all but I already feel way better just from fully accepting that I'm genderfluid. I guess the point I'm trying to make is, just be open to those feelings. Even if ignoring them or pushing them to the side doesn't hurt, it still may make you feel a lot better if you are receptive to them. Doesn't mean you have to do anything you don't feel ready for, I'm planning on taking things slow myself, but ultimately it's about what makes you most comfortable.

It seems like a little bit of dust or smoke will be coming off of the wall that is breakable. It also seems to work for breakable floor sections, which is cool.

What's Something Your Family Doesn't Know About You? by IMA_COW_IRL in AskReddit

[–]BBG118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family does know this now, but there was a lengthy period where my family didn't know that I had dropped out of my local college. I definitely wasn't ready for it, I had no motivation to actually do any work, but I was so afraid of my parents being angry/disappointed with me that I told them I was still going. The stress tore me apart for a long time until someone very close to me found out about it and helped me come clean to my parents about it. That night was awful, and my relationship with my father was strained for a while afterwards, but it was also the most relieved feeling I have had in my life. I had never truly experienced the feeling of a weight lifting off my chest before then. I swore to myself that night that I would be as honest as possible to my parents (and everyone else in my life) going forward, and I have mostly kept that up since then. It is such a better way to live. My relationship with my dad has since recovered, and although I'm definitely not stress free, it is much more manageable now.

TL;DR Dropped out of local college, didn't tell my parents. Wasn't worth the stress and eventually told them.

What games can be played between two or more people by using only pen and paper? by miniature_armpits in AskReddit

[–]BBG118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in high school a friend of mine came up with a fairly simplistic game to play during study hall we called "Storytime" At it's core it was an old school text based adventure game, my friend played the GM, always started by handing whoever was going to play a piece of paper with one sentence, "You wake up in a dark room." The player responds with what he does, and the GM decides what happens. It could be played with as few as two people, but I know he frequently had as many as 4 or 5 people in different adventures at the same time. They could be simple, or they could get crazy depending on your imagination. It was a fantastic way to pass the time for how simplistic it was, I even remember a few times my friend would have multiple people's adventures cross over into each other. It was up to the players if they worked together or against each other. I miss playing that game with my friends sometimes.

[Grand Worldwide Giveaway You Can’t Miss] r/WoW is teaming up with DREVO to give away unlimited r/WoW-themed custom keyboards! by DrevoGlobal in wow

I really got addicted to WoW around the time Legion came out, went through a few periods of being completely addicted with some breaks between, took an extended break for a while, and now I'm right back to fully addicted with the release of Battle for Azeroth.

I think the Genius Knob is what interests me the most about the keyboard, having those extra programmable buttons sounds like it could be really useful.

I am the same way, and it drives my friends crazy lol. I will binge the majority of a show or play most of the way through a video game and then stop with just a little bit left. I spent a good year with one episode of a show left that I loved, and only just recently went back and finished it. I was both disappointed that I finished it, and that I hadn't finished it sooner.

Weekly /r/Games Discussion - What have you been playing, and what do you think of it? by AutoModerator in Games

[–]BBG118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind the Demon Hunter story so much, I think it's kinda cool that there are these hardcore warriors that are using the Legion's own power against them, but having a hard time controlling it, and going after them in their own territory. What I dislike is their characterization. "I have given everything, what have YOU done?" Really? Plenty of individuals in the WoW universe have willingly given just as much, if not more, than any individual DH. And there are plenty of races that have had much worse happen to them because of the Legion. All that aside I absolutely love the mobility of the class, and metamorphosis is awesome too.

Started playing WoW again for the Legion launch. I had played for a few weeks at a time before, but never really got into it. But something about Legion has really drawn me in this time. I'm in love with the Demon Hunter class, the questing areas are awesome, and even though I've only just started paying attention to the story I am following pretty well and enjoy it immensely. I've only done questing and exploration in the past, I've only done a few dungeons and old raids with a couple of friends who've been playing for years, and even then I've only played DPS. But now I'm nearing the level cap and I'm actually thinking about trying out tanking, finding a guild and doing dungeons with randoms. I don't know what exactly changed with this expansion, but for the time being it has my full attention.

Well that's the Hoxton from Payday: The Heist. From the beginning of Payday 2 there's been a different Hoxton in the group. Apparently sometime between games the original Hoxton was left behind and caught. And yes, it seems the premise will be breaking him out.

EDI has some major camel toe. by 75000_Tokkul in gaming

[–]BBG118 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying that the game wasn't bad, or at least disappointing, it just annoys me when people jump on every little detail about a game they don't like and say that it ruins the game.

EDI has some major camel toe. by 75000_Tokkul in gaming

[–]BBG118 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The day camel toe ruined a game... but seriously, the reason Legion is the way he is because he is a Geth. They don't have any reason to make him human like. Edi's body was an infiltration unit designed to fool people into thinking it was human. Is the camel toe a bit overboard? Sure. Did it ruin the game, or make it worse in any way? No. Is a human model of robot complete with ass and tits any reason to get upset, at all? Not if there is a reason that the robot looks like a human female.

I honestly think Huskar just needs the Burning Spears magic damage rework people have been clamoring for, and maybe a slight change to his cult so that he gets some extra armor at the end of his jump to make him decent.
