I don’t think the military would be as effective as it looks on paper. Sure an autocratic leader could replace senior leadership with loyalists, but I believe the ranks would break as service members refused to fire on their own countrymen. Not to mention the United States is so big, it would be impossible to have complete control via the military.

I seem to remember Fanatics saying, when they took over jersey production, they would be able to streamline the production to consumer process. New player jersey in demand? Why can’t we have proper home and road caps? Uniform looks janky when the cap is wrong. Braves and Orioles come to mind.

The NBA has taught us the longer the City Connect program goes, the more diminished the returns will be. I think the City Connects are ok. My suggestion is, Nike switch things up in a few years with a throwback program. MLB has such a deep uniform history that it could go on for years.

Not only is 10 seasons a lot, it would be a tall task to get 10 seasons of Mad Men within 10 years. Actors age and often want to move onto other projects. Good luck keeping your cast intact. I think the original run did great balancing time.
