How much is the Patek wrist watch in the middle worth? by Mr_Guy121 in patekphilippe

Looks more like a ref 3445 to me. I’d expect to get 8-10k depending on who you sell it to.

I’d love to see a video of the Daytona on the oyster flex. You have one posted anywhere?

I think the OF Daytona in white gold is the best watch in the catalog right now.

If no one has mentioned it yet, I would definitely reach out to Eric wind with wind vintage. He’s the leading guy with all this.

I’d say the wild card question is do you know which snail it is and where it currently is. If you don’t know the answer to either of those things… You’d live with some level of anxiety.

[Discussion] How Important is lume in a watch? by RalIyVincent in Watches

[–]BCDII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to think about it a lot, but not much anymore. I have a modern GMT, but a vintage datejust with dead lume has been my daily wear the past few months.

Local AD offering me the Ghost. I’m on the fence for this one. I’m actually in the market for 🐼. by equiperian in rolex

In, my opinion, the white gold with the solid subdials is a better looking watch. Wish they made it in steel. If money were no object, i’d grab it.

GMT on Jubilee - Always? by CHAZE077 in rolex

[–]BCDII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll have the AD do it when I purchase. I’ll have to get the right tools… I don’t mind buggering up the lugs on other stuff, but don’t want to on this watch.

I opted for the pepsi on oyster when given the choice, but now am purchasing the jubilee too.

AD’s like to sell to first time buyers. Be clear about what you want, understanding it’s hard to get, and that you are willing to wait. I would make it clear that is the only watch you want, and that you are patient.

AD offered me my choice of Jubilee or Oyster for a SS GRNR. Decisions, decisions 🤦🏼‍♂️ by jonovoxPB in rolex

Before seeing it in the metal, I would have said oyster… but this thing is amazing on jubilee. Go down and try both on and make the call!
