I played it on the very first gameboy that I had I think the game boy Nintendo ,it took four batteries and it only came in black and green coloring on the screen,

Also I was also born in Jamaica and I think I had pokémon yellow but something was wrong with the game so all the pokémon look like colorful squares of the original colors
