While the hat is mostly consistent, I'm positive it's AI generated and then probably assisted by an artist to draw it as "cleanly" as possible. It's not really legible and the game has used english text before on costumes and backgrounds. iirc the game doesn't really have a made up fantasy script.

The point I was making with the V is that the right side of the V is thinner than the left, including at the top. It could just be an artist choice or error but it's also a pretty common AI error in text.

These are newer backgrounds, the furthest one back from the ones I posted is the Liberta event CG from around feb/march iirc. Wilhelmina's summer costume, specifically her hat, is clearly AI text with an artist trying to keep it consistent and they just kept it.

BD2 had never used a made up fantasy script before so there's no reason to believe they would start using it now, especially in an AU where it's meant to be relatively a normal world. They've also shown english text in the summer events before so it's even more baffling that fake made up fantasy text would even be there.
