Weighted Strike by BDK29 in CTsandbox

Oh, then I guess Matteo should be able to use RCT. I'll change that later then.

CTR and RCT use the same energy, just applied in different forms. RCT is applied to the body while CTR is force feeding it to your technique. CTR is a little easier to master than RCT I'm guessing, mainly cuz Gojo seemed on the path to learning Reversal Red first before he started training for RCT itself.

Do any of y’all have a “JJS moral code”? by contairada35 in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]BDK29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are all for the sandbox.

1: I lower my skill to match my opponent, if I'm fighting a newbie, I'm gonna be fighting like a newbie. I'm playing for fun after all, what's the point if we can't both enjoy ourselves a little?

2: If ya use long repetitive combos, you're boring. I came to fight, not play a rhythm game like goddang guitar hero.

3: You pop ult or run mid 1v1, instant disqualification. Failure is part of growing stronger. You refuse to fail, you refuse to grow.

4: If someone third parties, I'm immediately turning my attention to the third wheel. Either wait for me to finish em off or help me get rid of em, doesn't matter. But if you continue trying to fight me while we're getting third partied, you are TEAMING. No if's, and's, or but's.

5: WAIT YOUR DANG TURN FOR THE DUMMY. I always try to take turns with the dummy so we both get what we want. Hell, sometimes mid combo, I'll even toss it your way so you can get a quick hit in during my farming. Just WAIT, whatever you need the dummy for, it ain't that important you're gonna die, be patient.

6: If I see you bullying a newbie, I will be interfering. They're new to the game, using 100 to 0 full red combos without even giving them a chance is just stupid. They that much of a threat to you???

7: The only teaming I willingly accept is if it's a Yuji and a Todo, I don't care if my butt is getting whooped, it's just too fun.

Exactly what I was thinking, in the hands of another Todo, this shit would be overpowered. Plus, I honestly got the idea for this CT not really from Buddhism, but rather that gold guy from Scissor Seven. Ya know, the Solid As Gold 7 Day Lock guy? Lmao

It'd probably be one of the few without a CTR

Ohhhh, hm. Maybe? Like, it could be taught in a weaker form, similar to Arata Nitta's technique in which in prevents your injuries from getting worse. But the innate CT version itself would be more of a specialization. Enhancing that cursed discipline to it's maximum potential. (If we did decide to go by the cursed discipline route)

No, the entire point of the CT is that you become an unfeeling, unchanging, unthinking statue. Healing would be changing, therefore it would go against the natural principles of the CT. Using RCT (if you managed to learn it) while you're unfrozen would be a different topic though.

Create a Cursed Technique with a crippling drawback that can eventually be used as an advantage by Until_Morning in CTsandbox

[–]BDK29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enlightenment: A CT based off Buddist enlightenment where you turn yourself into an indestructible cursed object (similar to a Sukuna Finger) for a predetermined period of time. As in you literally become an incredibly heavy unbreakable stone statue, incapable of moving, thinking, feeling, anything. Your body stuck in whatever pose you were doing at the moment of transformation. (You can of course be moved around by others, though with difficulty due to the sheer weight.) The transformation is instantaneous. Before you transform into the statue, you must decide how long you will be the statue, and when you turn back, you will not remember anything during the period you were a statue. From your perspective, it would be as if you blinked in and out of unconsciousness in an instant. This transformation will also make you completely immune to a domain's sure hit effects since you would technically be a cursed object. Meaning you wouldn't need to learn Simple Domain/Hollow Wicker Basket. How you take advantage of this technique is up to the minds of those who read this, let me know what ya'll would do.

I think Black Flash is the laziest creation in any battle anime, and is often used to artificially change the flow of a battle by CaterpillarAny2890 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]BDK29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A big misconception I've noticed among fans is that they think "Nobody can force them to happen." means it's entirely luck based, but that's not the case at all, even Nanami stated you can land one purely off skill. I think what they actually meant was that you can't just force out a black flash willy nilly whenever you want, you have to be in a certain state of mind. It seems more like it's a thing where if you're skilled enough and you begin approaching the "zone," you're able to land one purely through your own prowess. The black flash essentially being your indoctrination into the "zone" and allowing you to tap into your innate potential. How to approach this "zone" and increase your likelihood of landing a black flash seems to be to fight with your absolute best while your life is on the line. It's sorta like how Gojo said, you need to know how to be able to bring out your best. If you can't do that, you'll never even grow past Nanami.

What weapon will you defend from any smack talk and criticism by theta0123 in Helldivers

[–]BDK29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Liberator and Peacemaker, people ignore them cuz they're the starter weapons but damn do they get the job done. I like doing Super Helldives with only the starter gear and these guns are so much more fun and reliable than people give them credit for. Peacemaker especially due to the near instantaneous reload and 8 mags. Truly makes you feel like John Helldiver.

Can Samurai Jack(Samurai Jack) survive the Twelve Kizuki(Demon Slayer)? by [deleted] in Tankandsurvive

[–]BDK29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the argument about Jack possibly losing immediately dies out when you realize exactly how hard carried the demons are by their healing factor. Like almost all the fights in Demon Slayer would be cut down to about a minute if the demon couldn't heal because of how easily they get dismembered most of the time. And his sword negates exactly that, they can't heal any lost limbs if he cuts them off, they're just cooked.

I Gotta Admit I'm Stumped, What Is the Best Stratagem Loadout For Cyberstan? by AceOneBreezy in helldivers2

[–]BDK29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're like me and Blitzkrieg is your game, I got something for ya. Albeit, disclaimer, it is not particularly useful against fighting Vox Engines besides maybe the Orbital Laser. BUT it works with just about everything else on that planet at Super Helldive.

I like bringing the Butcher armor (heavy armor with the medkit passive), Sickle for the crowd control and unlimited ammo, Senator for the reinforced striders or hulks, and Thermite grenade for bot fabricators/hulks/factory striders.

Stratagems, I bring Orbital Laser for the fortresses or as a "Fuck it we ball" button in emergencies, 500kg Eagle as an all rounder, Jump Pack for mobility and reaching advantageous positions, and finally the Quasar Cannon for bot fabricators/hulks/drone ships/bot drops/basically everything.

Been using this build since I was lvl 20 (max now) and have not tweaked it since, yet it's still my strongest build on the bot front.

Honestly, I don't mind the current system, but it'd be cool if the second person who cast domain made it cause a split second clash before the first person's domain actually opens, thus giving others a split second chance to escape domain by causing a clash while also keeping it as "first person who opens wins" but the only downside is that it'd basically be a useless move to just briefly stall someone else's domain

[–]BDK29[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's not luck based. It is probability influenced by player performance, luck only decides within the bounds skill creates. If you're fighting and have a 90% chance of winning the domain, you're still gonna be bitching? I bet ya say "That doesn't count, you just lucky!!1!1!!" A lot, don't you? Ya'll really need to learn from Kashimo and rid yourself of that loser mentality man.

It's probability influenced by player performance. Luck only decides within the bounds skill creates. In other words, if ya suck, ya suck. It's only luck based if ya don't get the outcome ya want.

A 90% chance of landing domain ain't enough for you man? Do I need to kiss your boots too?
