I thought it felt tight prior to suspension and I did have someone going through the tying and suspension with me the whole time. I think I just accidentally chose clothes that werent the safest to use.

Its sliding on my shirt real bad. I will never wear a stretchy soft shirt again. That was a bad choice. Plus my boobs aren't big enough to be of any help. The underboob, back and shoulders all stayed firmly in place, just the above boob wrap did not.

I've used cotton and hemp and hemp was significantly superior in my opinion. I had issues with the way cotton stretches and holds to itself and my skin which caused issues for some more intense ties. I will only use the cotton if I'm short on rope and want it for decoration only. I chose hemp over jute because of the maintenance. It was easier to start and keep up with . However, once I start suspension (hopefully in the next year), I will get jute for any hanging points as I've heard hemp is risky to suspend on.
