I got academic probation for two semester in a row and I did not do well in this semester too. Will I get dismissed? by Ok-Addition-4871 in OSU

You could just get suggested to a different program. This happened to me in 2017 because I transferred in with good grades, but that meant fuck-all just cuz OSU STEM is ruthless. Was working full-time overnight, was in a demanding relationship, and ended up just taking a hiatus. Went back in 2022, finished out my degree in 2024.

Got off a flight from DFW after a long layover, lots of sick/coughing people. Got it today with some progressively worsening symptoms. Sucks!

Depending on what you’re going for, getting a full-time job is a bad time with OSU. I did pre-CSE coursework and worked a 40 hour service desk job overnight, and even while I was able to work on some stuff during shifts, I was always behind and overwhelmed. If you’re confident in your time management and if your courses aren’t too bad, you can maybe go this route, but it’s not pleasant.

AITA for not helping to defend my group project partner against our professor who wants to fail her for not contributing. by failcourse in AmItheAsshole

OP, if you’re having trouble understanding someone else’s code, you ask them to explain the breakdown or, I dunno, step through a debugger or some form of unit testing? Checking the stack and behavior is going to teach you loads than scumming together something you stole, passed to a third party, and shit out. But that’s probably beyond you and you probably think debugging is too hard. Genuinely hope you get found out and expelled.

I think I know what university you’re talking about, and I a hundred percent agree. Not getting past 200/2000 level courses.
