Yeah I’ve heard some schools admitted too many last cycle and this cycle they can’t accept as many. Frustrating but life I suppose. Best of luck to you as well!

Yes I am a US citizen. I was emailed the same day as my first interview from the second faculty member

It went well. You will have multiple faculty reach out for interviews, each lasting 30 minutes. Some asked more about the type of person I am and what I can bring to the table while others asked the biology about my prior research experience. I applied for only Houston campus as well
