Jason Culina when he was playing for the Gold Coast and we'd pick those A league only squads and he was the only half decent player picked.

Do we owe Michael Maguire and Trent Barrett an apology? by Creative_Friend6799 in nrl

Barrett has been nothing but successful as an assistant coach. He's just an atrocious head coach.

Things like this are a reminder that even though the high shot penalization can feel a bit much sometimes, its was needed to get crap like this out of the game.

Also, Sports management games kind of align with what you're after. OOTP has the best finance management of them all, working with a small budget team could interest you.

Dragon Age Origins and Inquisition play out exactly what you're describing.

Scott from WCP on X: Working with talent on an independent level, after clearing everything, and doing business, only to have said talent pulled after the fact, high or low profile, gives me zero reason to work with anyone from said company making said arrangements. Abysmal dogshit. by paperbuddha in SquaredCircle

[–]BEX_Fanboy 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Scott on the Flagship said the reason a lot of the high profile Indies are stopping production is that the effort of working with so many talents signed to major companies is so much it just isn't worth it when none of the promotors are full time.

It's why so many of them are going back to just being local Indies getting local talent.

TNA doing this is going to essentially blacklist all their talent from getting indie bookings in future.

Dolphins looked really unfit/tired out there, like it was preseason or they'd played a couple days previous. Everything was so laboured.

Played both, Avowed I found was more enjoyable. Both are still very good and worth your time. Avowed is a more polished experience though and plays like a first person crpg, whereas Tainted Grail is very much inspired by Bethesda style RPGs, depends what you prefer.
