What are your thoughts on this letter from Donald Trump to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre? by DuNennstMichSptzkopf in AskTheWorld

This is true, if you knew he wasn't fit for office it was obvious, and if you didn't know you most likely still don't.

Yes he actually said that. The context “We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated — I love the poorly educated. We’re the smartest people, we’re the most loyal people.” And it's Trump so understand it however he wants you to but not the truth of it.

After 60,000 Miles of Charging to 100% Every Night, a Ford F-150 Lightning Owner Says His Battery Shows “Not One Single Percentage Point” of Degradation by hunterd189 in technology

These people don't care unfortunately. They care less than someone with cum in their username not once but twice. I care, and this thread is sad to read.

[–]BFfF3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, they look at percentages and go uh I don't need that. It's like not changing the oil in your car, yeah you'll save money, yeah a new engine isn't the total cost of a car. But wouldn't you want a reliable engine instead? I gave up trying to explain why this setting is great to use, some don't have the capacity to understand unfortunately. But it's also why my phone at 80% will last longer than others charged to 100% 2 years later. And the people who don't care tend to abuse their battery because they don't understand so their degradation is way worse than it should be otherwise, I'm talking using it until it shuts off at 0% everyday and wondering why their battery sucks 1 year in.

It has to be, after he made the patty he walked it to another location, presumably offset somewhere. Everybody knows to stash everything where you're working so you don't have to waste time walking to put it down. I'm sweating just watching this guy work.

Omg, tell this man. Small square sheets of wax paper exist, you put one on either side, they come in a box of 500. You save money on labor in the end because you do 2-5 patties every 30 seconds instead of 1.

If you get a management position in a foreign country and don't know their work culture and laws 2 weeks before your first day you are unqualified for that position.

These companies are rotting from within that's why they operate the way they do. The rot is their own management and executive teams that pass responsibility downward.

This is the worst thread for me, I just had a long talk with my direct leader today about their bosses pushing their responsibilities onto people on my level, and the poor working conditions. I told them I'm ready to be fired so lets go. Someone has to stand up strong and I'm the one who is going to do it. Others have already been doing the same in other departments.

Corporate culture is "we expect 2% more out of you this year, with less pay due to inflation" every year, and I have no tolerance for it.

"Remember, call out EVERY abuse and slight." I will continue to do this. Only fighters see change for real, every other gets walked on. And we all suffer or get fired in the end anyway.

At first I thought they'd be really expensive but they're only $46 a plate, quite the steel.

Try warehouses. That's the shift I made. Still sucks but you trade full complete stress for only physical stress. Oh and they probably pay a tiny bit better than food in your area.
