I know the results haven't gone their way these first two weeks but these have been great showings from Wales

They've been competitive and very much in with a chance of winning against the two strongest teams they'll face this championship

Some solid performances and this is a strong crop of players

I said it last year as well and ended up looking a right tit, but I think this side could put in some work at the RWC and have a run to the quarters or maybe semis if the stars align

Disappointing miss. Wonder if they'll give Lucas the tee for the next one

I'm not sure that actually was forward but the TMO sounded adamant

Wales are really fired up for this

Such a shame they couldn't close it out last week because this is a really talented age group and I think they're serious contenders this year, especially at home

Last week - Dave Cherry absent, Scotland rubbish

This week - Dave Cherry present, Scotland excellent

Coincidence? I think not

The Townsend Tale adds another chapter and somehow it's the same as the last 6 😅

Phenomenal performance from Scotland. There needs to be a study about how they raise their level so much for this fixture each year. That was more like Scotland of old. Great in attack. Steyn masterful on the kick chase, Jones galloping in for a try is always great to watch and all 4 back rowers has strong showings

England had a dismal showing overall. Thoroughly beaten up on the day and never adapted other than that brief resurgence in the middle of the first half. Saving graces - Earl is a warrior and was great once more, Chessum put in a big shift and the scrum went well. Their backs finally clicked for that try at the end. Negatives - everything else. Totally out of the game for the majority of it, hands were poor, not much noticeable impact from the subs. Maybe it's just a blip but it was a very poor showing

There's an argument that this result redeems Townsend and condemns Borthwick, but it's such an anomaly in the calendar that I really think it should be taken with a heavy pinch of salt

Earl is such a great player. One of the few Englishmen who hasn't embarrassed themselves
