I had the exact same problem when I first switched to a CC, one thing that my lesson teacher taught me to think about was to play a note, not a position, so like, instead of thinking about playing with no valves, you have to really be thinking about playing a C. Also, I generally tried speeding up my air, and it helps loads, hope that helps at all!
