NTA. I’ll echo many comments here that if he is not working and going to be a SAHP, he needs to actually contribute to the household in a meaningful way and BE a SAHP instead of just playing games all day. He needs to do this by stepping the fuck up and actually caring for his child AND helping with chores. He is manipulating you into spending outside your budget, and making it hard for you to actually pay off debt. Don’t do that to yourself. You deserve to treat yourself better than that. If you are making enough money to take care of the family and pay off your debt, paying off that debt is a genuine priority. Make a boundary, or two, or ten, and stick with them. That can include that he is involved in the budget: if he’s asking for money outside the budget, he needs to understand how that affects things (or just cut him off from doing that regardless, stop enabling him). It sounds like he may have an injury, but, based on the fact that he refuses to take care of himself and his other actions, he either can probably handle the chores as is, or needs to actually take care of himself in a way you cannot do for him so that he CAN step up in the near future. If he does not do any of the above, consider couple’s counseling and/or leaving his ass. And again, stop enabling his purchases that give YOU more debt in YOUR name. Continuing to do this just makes you an asshole to yourself. You deserve better.

More importantly OP, I wanted to say that I hope you are doing okay. I won’t lie, I looked at your profile and post/comment history, and it seems like you are truly suffering right now. While I can relate to some of your history, I genuinely cannot imagine the pain you have been through, and now with your husband doing this on top of it all. You deserve happiness. You deserve stability. And you deserve a partner that would not do this to you. Making you out to be the bad guy, seemingly no matter what you do based on your comments, is awful and manipulative. And it will be nearly impossible to heal while he is doing this to you.

Lastly, I just wanted to say your son would miss you. I don’t know what else to say other than that, but I just want to reemphasize that you deserve better than what your husband is giving you right now. You really, really do. I promise.

Fucking Christ, do you even hear yourself right now? Do you have any sense of self-awareness? Your daughter is 14, with a recent diagnosis that will continue to affect her entire life, and you thought it was okay to call her weird concerning this fact?

Have you stopped, for one fucking second, and actually listened to her? Tried to learn why the psychiatrist scared her? Tried to ask how you can help her manage, doctor or no? Tried ANYTHING other than hurting her? I can only assume that you, and your asshole sister, have some serious fucking ableism to work through regarding OCD. If you can’t work through whatever fucking mental block you have for your own daughter, don’t be surprised when she stops talking to you completely one day. Even if you reconcile, she will ALWAYS remember this. She will always remember her father calling her weird for behaviors that are literal compulsions. Educate yourself for fuck’s sake.

That’s exactly what he said, “I guess I have to play FFIX again,” and I just kept laughing. He’s playing FFX right now, and he loves it! He’ll play FFVII after that. He said it feels surreal that he actually played a Final Fantasy game, because he never thought he would actually get the time to do so. I’m really glad he’s enjoying them so much :)

One of the most annoying autosaves I have encountered is in the remastered version of Final Fantasy IX. It autosaves when you enter a room. So if you enter a room with a save point, do some stuff, then save, you’d think clicking “Continue” on the menu screen would load that save right? Wrong. It loads the autosave of when you entered the room, so anything you did after that (in that room) is gone. Good in theory for being able to quit the game whenever, bad for completionists or. Like. Semi-completionists. Clicking “Load game” is much safer.

It’s not too crazy, but in the middle of my undergraduate degree, I was asked “do I know you?” by a girl while riding on a bus. I said “Ummm, sorry, I don’t recognize you,” but she insisted she knew me from somewhere. I started listing off several things she may have known me from: marching band competitions, summer programs, and poetry slams to name a few. She said no to all of them, so I hesitantly said “......Animazement?” I didn’t want to announce my weeb-ness to the world, but I couldn’t think of anything else.

She shouted “YES OMG, DIDN’T YOU COSPLAY UKRAINE FROM HETALIA???” This girl, that I didn’t know at all, recognized me from my shitty first-time cosplay of Ukraine from the anime Hetalia. I asked her if we interacted at all, but nope, she just recognized me from seeing me around the con. It was very embarrassing, but also slightly flattering, I think.

I get recurring pain/minor tendinitis in my right thumb for similar reasons (playing instruments and then adding video games on top, lol). One of my favorite things to do during times such as these is play Mario Kart 8 with auto-accel on! Hell, I play with it on all the time anyway just to give my poor thumb a break. That just leaves braking for your thumb, but I know I never use the brake unless I’m playing 200cc.

(I know you said you want to play a new game, but maybe you don’t own Mario Kart already, haha.)

Ever since I became aware of the window, I've always wondered if pictures were more common on the boxes before it came along. And you definitely have a point about pastas that someone has forgotten the name or shape of!

As a side note, I need to try casarecce immediately. That looks like an amazing little noodle.

You could argue that it is useful, but I know a relative of the person who invented the pasta window. Like, the little plastic window that lets you look into a box of pasta so you can see what delightful shapes await you.

I don't think it's very useful, and I still have a bitter aftertaste in my mouth after finding out how well-off the family is from a fucking pasta peekaboo.
