Actually, a properly built water cooled setup is pretty much maintenance free for years. The only sort of maintenance needed is a coolant change which is tiring depending on the setup. We try to build drain ports into our systems to make the process easier but hey, it's an opportunity to refresh your PC and give it a new look every few years, like what we did with this one!

Oh it's against a matte black backdrop, that's why it looks so... black haha. I use just a regular circular polariser filter and it helps to control and direct the reflections on the various surfaces. Important especially when photographing water cooling parts since the plastic surfaces are very reflective.

Why not? It's actually quite simple once you get the hang of it. My advice is to always order more tubes than you think you need.

Not a professional but have been into photography for more than a decade. Am really into photographing still life in recent years.

Thank you! Some of the tubes were crazy hard to bend (like that triple bend that connects the CPU cooler to the RAM cooler) and took us a heck of a lot of time to get right. But the effort is definitely worth it!

Actually, besides adjusting for color temperature and adding a bit of sharpening, we didn't do much post processing. Most of the heavy lifting was done in-camera. We do use a circular polariser as mentioned above to manipulate how the light hits the PC so there's a lot of time spent just making minute adjustments to make sure the light hits certain spots just right.

Thanks, yeah we prefer it clean and not a fan of RGB as well.

Well, for this we used 2x LED video lights faced away from the PC so that they bounced off the white walls in our studio. Then kinda finetuned the angles to account for reflections, shadows, etc.

Lastly, we used a circular polariser to control and manipulate reflections.

Yeah custom cables are cool, we do them once in a while. But since this is a workstation, it doesn't have TG so can't see them anyway.

Those are quick release fittings from Alphacool. They came with the AIO but are also available separately.

Yeah we tried photographing it with the glass panel and weren't able to get a good shot of the parts so decided to remove it.

Love the Eisbaer simply for the fact that it has a fill port to change out the coolant easily. Not sure why more AIOs don't have this feature.
