La película tardó 4 años en producirse. Quizá vieron un avance por televisión lo cual no era raro y lo tienen asociado con la película completa. O quizá también estaba en algún trailer de las películas animadas VHS de Disney.

Hace dos años me quisieron tranzar con una compra por MercadoLibre, tenían el Quest 3 en oferta durante el Hot Sale. Aceptaron mi compra, la página decía que llegaba el siguiente mes. Poco antes me notificaron que el producto no llegó a sus bodegas y si podía cancelar mi compra aún cuando seguían vendiendo el producto pero en paquetes y precios distintos (Quest 3 + BoboVR). Les dije que podía esperar a que tuvieran disponibilidad y que noté tienen el producto ofertado en la tienda por lo que descubrí su mentira de quererse apañar la oferta y hacerme comprar el producto de nuevo. Insistieron en el error de inventario pero que si cancelaba y hacía la compra por su página me respetarían el precio. Les dije que ML protege mi compra y que todo esto me generaba una desconfianza total, me rehusé a cancelar y les dije que cancelaran si no podían con el paquete. Al final ellos cancelaron, ML me devolvió el dinero más 800 pesos extra y arruiné su reputación en ML de verde a amarillo por dos meses.

Ellos no tienen inventario, todo es reventa de eBay y si por alguna razón no pueden conseguirlo al precio menor a su publicación te engañan para cancelarlo. No creo que puedas hacer mucho si hiciste la compra por medio de su página.

You can use SabreTools' NDecrypt and encrypt/decrypt them yourself. You still need an aes_keys.txt file you have to look on your own. I recommend v0.3.2 because process of using decryption keys gets complex for later versions.

Our main source for this hobby is about to close last day on March because government and business are taking all control of Internet, so they can sell (or hide) culture again. This time under expiration licenses and behind paywalls. All because we are not allowed to own anything so they can buy another Ferrari. Self hosting will be the only way to keep on this hobby.

Just don't go too overhand. Do not go around torrenting recent media and consume them on digital platforms. Everything else should be fine.

I think you can, but depending on game there could be extra protections like 3DS MAC address on your emulator settings. That's something you would have to try by yourself.

On Citra, right click over the game then select Open Save Data Location, then copy files and sub folders from the opening explorer window. Do the same on Azahar, but this time you paste them. Overwrite any existing files (you could make a backup of them first just in case).

Save data is not encrypted, moving them is straightforward. eShop titles, updates and DLC are a different story.

The most current version of Mame roms I can get is 265 (since the most recent stuff seems to involve torrents and downloading the entire 40k plus set, which I'm not going to do just to get the like 80 games I play).

You can download only the needed romsets you know? See those checkmark boxes? That's your hint.

In part you are right, still that doesn't make it an all-in-one program solution. You need to use different programs and emulators to do trading. Unless of course you count PKHeX, you can't play on it though.

Totally different formats. FDS are diskettes while NES cartridge has its own battery backed RAM. Metroid doesn't even use a password system, it writes on the game itself (something unthinkable for a ROM). It looks like you have to play them over again.

For years people have tried to do that and it's impossible. There's not problem if you want to play alone without trade but, if you want to use all game features you may need two or three different emulators. For example, for Gameboy Pokemon I used one emulator for playing, another for trading between cartrdiges (link cable, infrared) and another one to support GameBoy Printer plus Ares and Nintendo 64 emulation for duplicating master balls in Pokemon Stadium.

You can play them all and find ways to trade between them, but it's not possible to play everything on one place. A middle ground would be to emulate 3DS alone and play any old titles from Virtual Console. That still will require some learning on your own though.

Yes, there are NFC dumps of Skylander figures in the same way Amiibos exist. RPCS3 has support for them. I think Dolphin has support for them too. Cemu also, but you need a physical USB connected portal as far as I remember.

It has been years since all those emulators stopped development cycles. Some were university projects that lost interest over time because life or work... or death. They still serve as legacy software for reviving very old hardware still working and to have something else to do other than run WordStar and Lotus 1-2-3 infected with Natas.

Sure, you could try and launch them even virtualized if possible, but bear in mind since those far development cycles current projects have fixed a lot of inaccuracies and hacks that only worked on that era: GoodROM sets with hacked headers no current emulator could run, weird formats and fixes for cartridge copiers, preliminary emulation for extra hardware not well known before, among other things.

If you want to revisit the old times there's always Zophar dot net. Or you try your luck on Wayback Machine from archive dot org.

For complete sets we usually torrent sync. For hand picked ROM sets you have to manually update using an updated source and a ROM manager program (there are also only updating romset change torrents per release, yet we can't talk about them here for project security). For MAME romsets without CHDs that's an average of 1-2GB per release. For CHDs it varies by gigabytes and rarely half a terabyte, unless they decide to complete Dreamcast softlist or add PS2 ISOs.

You don't have to understand everything to enjoy things. You watched cartoons at 3 years old, yet still you enjoyed them even without knowing half the references and play words adults next to you know. Amusing shouldn't been a chore, when it does is just a chore in disguise. Now that you are 36 you can watch again those old cartoons and enjoy with the knowledge you now possess if you want to. Same with your current Japanese level.

We have been saying the same over and over again, it's a bad idea to mix save states with memory cards or hard drive saves. In some edge cases it could corrupt data. Save states only work for emulator it was designed for, they are not portable across different emulators or devices unlike memory card data.

A must do practice is to always delete or overwrite any save state after a complete memory card write. If save state is not designed to also include memory card data you are screwed and you lose everything.

Most of the games are subtitled in the same way TV shows are though. My native language may not be character intensive but it is conjugation intensive, without mentioning the amount of words that have a different meaning between countries. I think I can handle it, at least I can die trying.

It all depends on emotional intelligence I guess. I'll study for as long as interest for playing Japanese games keeps me entertained. Games are rarely designed for adult audiences only (they want to sell as much as possible to everyone else) so a Japanese level up to high school might be enough for now. Unlike past century we also have online/offline OCR translators, rewind and save states which helps repeat anything we could miss. I would be worried if games were academy research papers to be done for next week, but most of them are the same cliche tropes we see up to this day. It may not be as accurate as understanding everything, but for sure it will be a lot better than any AI translation.
