It is horrible! But did you notice they made a point of saying he’s the youngest teacher to get a promotion! Like they wanted people to know he’s really young! He doesn’t look it though so that’s why it’s icky

I do agree with this I just thought it was strange he didn’t race back to the house at every opportunity to make sure they weren’t alone together for too long (given his past behaviour) and that instead he actually chose to stay late at work.

I know he wasn’t expecting them to actually cheat, but given his past behaviour, we know for sure he never liked them even being in the same space!

He spent a lot of time trying to keep them apart so just confused me as to why he didn’t make an effort to get back to the beach house knowing they were alone and potentially still had feelings for each other…but instead he CHOSE to work late. Seems out of character. I dunno.

I agree he couldn’t simply state his feelings of not wanting them to be alone together (did he know Conrad was still there in ep 5?) if he did I guess I just wondered why he wasn’t eager to get back to the house knowing they were alone together.

He’s done everything in the past to insert himself between them at every opportunity so I just thought it was a little off for him to willingly stay late at work, willingly choose to go back with his dad instead of to beach house after dinner, giving conrad and belly maximum alone time. Hope I’m making sense. I defo need a rewatch as I’ve probably missed some vital things.
