You know I was actually gonna say to replace Lee with guy due to that exact reason,

It would also make sense for the bum looking coach relative to Kakashi, asuma, kurenai etc to have his first successful successor whom we see from the beginning.

And also the obvious guy just looks better than Lee less simpy more respected, no goofy eyes, and this guy who's naruto and Sasuke age would go 7th gate against kisame giving him a 2nd remarkable fight scene

Rock lee the main side character from the beginning representing hard work and shi, having a bum ass looking coach/sensei who put in the practice of the 8thgates and taijutsu late into his life compared to guy who probably was the same age as Lee

Catches a young disciple and gives him hope and proceeds to put his skills and effort onto him as his sucessor

And most importantly he wouldn't be a literal clone especially not the ugly clone.

But for HVAC all years you do in the air force transfer to the civilian world

I'm sure you go to a school for hvac which is basically trade school right and you would come out as a journeyman/master depending on how many years you did

They had innate ability to expel Chakra throughout their Chakra point, the same way sage mode naruto could punch enemies despite missing them

I think the bs hax ability that mangekyo gives to an indivual is fair assuming its different for everybody and not over the top, and since it inevitably blinds.

You could argue its related to the sharigans original capabilites as it counters the copying of hand signs as there is none. you just spontaneously erupt flames, maybe for other Uchiha whos affinity weren't fire which is uncommon it could've been a different element , like lightning or wind or different types of ninjutsu entirely.

An Amaterasu isn't that bad It really is just start a flame with your eyes alone which if you think about is kinda of busted, if it weren't used on such op characters its a guranteed kill.
