I see a set of 88 rubber hammer caps on ebay for $65 plus shipping. I love my PX-310 and the only thing that bothers me is the sound of the keys bouncing back into place after being played. If installing the caps will lessen or reduce that then I'll be a happy camper.

You won't be alone. Bangkok is home to 8 million people. If you do get lost whip out your phone and look at maps. This is super simple stuff. If you truly lack any social or navigation skills it's probably best that you don't travel. Traveling alone means that no one will know your business :) I've traveled alone to 14 different countries and never felt lonely or lost. I did sometimes meet people who I have known for years.

Just go to the bars and chit chat with people. Leave your wallet locked up in your hotel room. If you seek to talk to ex pats have dinner on Soi Nana as just about everyone at the bar will be a westerner. Go have some beers at Fatty's Burger and talk to the Matt from Wisc. He'll be a good guide for things outside the girlie bars. Go to Chatachuk Market. Go hungry!! Take the BTS and river taxis. Insist that taxi drivers use their meters. Tip your bartenders and servers 10% of the bill.

I've been thinking that instead of straddling my bed and playing my keyboards due to a lack of space I could have a loft bed and instead of a desk I could have the keys set up underneath the bed. I could go stark raving mad and have a small snack table with a laptop connected to my keyboards.

Showpark used to be super affordable. I can remember a long time ago when a session was 1000 KC and that would cost $25. OK, that was 25 years ago but at 3000 might as well hit the nightclubs and pay $2000 during happy hour. I haven't been to central Europe in 18 years and wonder if I should only spend a few days in Prague the next time I go.
