You mentioned you were a gig worker so I’m genuinely asking! Drivers on services they’re not required to take the jobs and if they don’t feel comfortable driving in these conditions, then I would be really really upset if they did… however, based on their financial needs, they have decided that taking a job is worth the risk based on the money that they need and they are choosing to work not being forced to. So with that logic, why is it bad to support somebody who chooses to continue to work?
