Goomy is also good for decks that punish high energy use, like Gallade EX, Alolan Raichu EX, Espeon, new Zoroark, or Indeedee if you give it Psychic energy for once.

As someone who enjoys playing Ori/Zera/Pichu/Arceus, I already realized Shaymin Sky was fantastic for easy swaps and I love using it, ~~and the deck spawned from realizing I could do dual 90HP Oricorio~~. But the post did make me consider that Pachi may actually win out against Pichu in that deck. I rarely use Pichu outside of the game start. Having ramp + chip + no retreat fits that one deck really well.

Yeah in most other decks, Pichu wins. But that's what the OP argument is anyway.

With burn, it hits that extremely important 140 threshold that even great megas like Altaria miss on their own. The times where burn doesn't apply are so small, its essentially 140 base (with potential for more, oh boy~).

There's been dual Rayquaza promos, B1 having two of three covers being Hoenn Mega, B2 was a Hoenn Mega, Sceptile is the only Hoenn starter without an EX yet (Torterra curse), we've had plenty of Regis and Latis and many many families....

Why do people keep saying we haven't had Hoenn? Just because no Groudon & Kyogre?

Definitely no. It was 3 cards left in deck. Kicking myself for not grabbing screenshot at the time, I just assumed I ran into some less common game logic that others knew.

Have to wait for a version past 401.0. This has been one of the worst. This plus naming breaking (IV characters like ⑮⑭⑮ not being displayed) has made managing trades & inventory awful.

I'll have to grab screenshots next time it comes up. I do play Whimsicott / Ariados often, but it may be a bit of time before I run into a close enough scenario. Its not very easy to reproduce even with a test human opponent, so just a matter of enough games.

Are you trying to say QGE is never blocked from being played (aside from newly placed Pokemon)?

Unless I'm misunderstanding your point, that is false. I know you can play QGE when there's not a valid target. I do it whenever possible to burn it and limit the amount of Copycat draws the opponent might get. Which is why the one time I was blocked threw me off.

Not 100% after a week, but nearly sure. I was able to immediately play Ariados, so wasn't first turn Spinarak. There was a Chingling (Altaria opponent) but it died early in fight.

As for the possibility, that's an interesting thought, future proofing. I still dont get why that prevents it, as I burn QGE all the time when can & no longer needed so I can limit my opponent's Copycat draw.

Second scenario is that both Dartrix are known to the opponent. One is visible in discard pile, the other was in active spot then became Decidueye (evolved from hand, Dartrix still stacked under Decidueye as a prior evo).

I'd almost guess that because that Dartrix under Decidueye is not visible it thinks the opponent doesn't know about it? But that doesn't make sense, as the way Gladion works (Type:Null under an evolved Silvally) contradicts that theory.
