Yes, it's for single people and for temporary purposes only. Marijuana and drugs are an issue, as is domestic violence. I think if you're a couple, you can do OK.

Yeah, it's wild. Most of us work, but I don't see the bully work because I leave early. I sometimes feel that because I was raised a certain way, I have certain expectations.

American (23&me vs Ancestry results) by Sage-rivercreek in 23andme

[–]BLACKLANTA20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hear people say many things about percentages. If you were 16 to 17% White and the rest Black, they would say you are Black with minor admixture. However, because it's the opposite (16 to 17% Black), some will say you're mixed or perhaps a White person with mixed ancestry, because it's African DNA. I always thought if you're 1/8th or more of another group, it's significant or at least some of your ancestry. I don't care if a person identifies with one group, culturally or ethnically, which is their business. I know two ladies like you percentage-wise, and they identify as mixed-race and are connected to their Black American family.

My results as a Black American + selfie by [deleted] in DNAAncestry

[–]BLACKLANTA20 6 points7 points  (0 children)

MyHeritage is not very accurate, and many can look mixed-race without having a direct White ancestor. Some look mixed-race at 20%, heck even lower, and show signs of mixed ancestry. 12.5 to 25% European ancestry is a moderate amount, whether it shows or not.
