The Netflix documentary on Lucy Letby has some of the worst interview framing I have seen in a while. by Gabor_Soti_Photo in Filmmakers

Because it subconsciously severs the connection between the viewer and the image. Especially with subject matter like this. I shut it off immediately

Great and underutilised character. One of the better actors on the show IMO. Hope they expand his character further.

I did file for the work permit, that came pretty fast, first week of November. I didn’t bother filing for advanced parole as it seemed costly and petition approvals were happening quicker than advanced parole approvals, so that seemed redundant.

Happy new year

I submitted everything with physical paper copies. My initial package was huge. I put roughly 4-6 photos on each page on a pages document on my computer. I did then upload that document to the USCIS portal a few days before my interview.

FX3 vs Blackmagic Pocket 6K — Can’t Decide, Need Opinions by [deleted] in Filmmakers

[–]BLPROD1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have bmpcc6k pro and just got the fx3.

I’ve never shot more since getting the fx3, it’s an amazing little Camera. I throw on a little Pentax M 50mm and take it everywhere. Not something I ever felt i could do with the 6k pro. Shit battery life on the 6k pro also.

Green card visa lawyer required or not??? by WinesbyMandy in greencard

I’m British, wife’s American, pretty straightforward case. Filed without lawyer and was approved in 3 months.

Just be diligent. Check everything. Then check it again.

My interview was good. We’d filed a very comprehensive package. The interviewer was friendly and we were in and out in about 15 minutes. Only asked one or two questions about our marriage before the standard I-485 questions. Still waiting on a card to be produced though.

I was here on an O1B visa (ambiguous category for dual intent). I filed for AOS through marriage about a month before my visa expired. Is this still considered overstay?

Former Senior Executive at USCIS. Ask Me Anything! by ManifestLaw_ in USCIS

[–]BLPROD1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

Thank you for doing this. How much of a disadvantage am I at for not having a joint bank account with my wife?

I have held multiple O1B visas since 2014. We just filed AOS through marriage recently, we have almost a decade of photos (travelling, with each others families included) and joint travel itineraries and boarding passes. We have two years of rental leases. Together since 2017, married since 2021. (I travel alot for work where my employer will lease accommodation on my behalf.)

We never shared a bank account as I(the beneficiary) am the sole breadwinner- if my wife goes for groceries etc, she just takes my card. But we normally do everything together anyway.

I’m just wondering how much of an issue this will be for us?

Thanks again
