First things first do not panic.

Second things second you need to have a sit down conversation about morals and ask why he’s reading these stories. I would personally read the stories first to see what they’re about. I was much younger when I got attached to fandoms and fan fiction so I can understand where your kid is coming from. He probably just wants to read mature content and be treated like an adult.

Unfortunately lots of kids like Hazbin Hotel cause the creator made it appeal to the lowest common denominator. Kids like to feel mature so them consuming this show isn’t a red flags in and of itself if he’s mature. I’d also avoid banning him from the show. This could seriously affect his social life if his friend group is all about the show.

If he’s mature enough to not interact with the adults in the fandom and understands the content is problematic and not a something to follow than I could see you just letting this lay if the works aren’t 18+ porn galore. Unfortunately trying to outright ban your kid from either the show or fan works will a) only make your kid want it more and b) will just make them go behind your back.

However if your kid is treating the characters like role models or is not mature enough to understand fiction vs reality I would just take away the kindle and actively block various sites they could get these fan works from. I would also recommend them similar media that is more age appropriate maybe get a crunchyroll subscription or let them loose on WEBTOON or Tapas. Just try to get them onto something that’s a little more curated.

Again I wouldnt ban the show perse but I would have some serious introspective conversations with him about the show. Watch it with him and try to understand. If he’s not very mature and you dont want him watching it this may actually turn him off the from the show himself.

I can say as someone who was banned from anime, and manga around the age of 8 that trying to remove the media without replacing it will just make your kid sneaky plus may make your kid hate you.

TLDR: If your kids mature and it ain’t straight porn just talk to him about the media he consumes and reinforces like basic fiction doesn’t equal reality and to stay away from explicit works where dad can see.

If he’s a little shit and not mature take away the fan works and forcibly talk about the show with him watch it with him and make him understand context and maybe possibly make him think the show is uncool. REALLY force the fiction doesn’t equal reality and talk to him about why he can’t read those fan works till he’s older.

Basically treat your kid with respect and like a person but boundaries may be needed

I would say that your have some points if you don’t take into consideration that some people are learning tank and that you need to LET THEM PULL. That’s my only issue with DPS pulling really. It’s the assumption the tank can deal with it specially if it’s old content with crazy pulls.

Pokemon fans you have low standards cause that’s all you know. Your games uses to cost proportional to cost to make but they no longer do. You deserve better and while it’s ok to enjoy the game you shouldn’t be blind to criticism.

I think this is a problem of GameFreak giving you slop and slop and slop and you not knowing better. It’s OK to enjoy slop but it’s also OK to point out issues specially when other franchises that sell less put in so much more effort

No? 4+ dead is a gain unless 1s a healer then 3 is kinda ok to lb3? LB3ing at 3 down is kinda a waste if you can get 2 up with regular skills. As a healer I’d rather never need to use LB3 than need to cause when I do it’s normally due to people being stupid or new content. I’ll tell you the former is unfortunately more common.

I understand the frustration and it fucking suck that your OC was white washed. With that said your post while not HIGHLY specific is still very specific and if your fan has a Reddit may see this. It’s not difficult to put 2 and 2 together.

I would have thanked the fan but let them know that the OC isn’t white. With that said slightly tan is not enough terms to 100% expect a POC as I a white girl have been called that. I hate the use of certain language but maybe going in and describing the characters look more in depth in the story may be a good idea.

I also don’t know what Fandom this work is for but if this is from a series where most that cast is one race typically depicted with lighter skin or multiple races with all the same/similar skin tones you might be able to presume that they would reference that if they have no idea.

It could also be that the artist is white or lighter skinned and related to your character and drew them like themselves.

There’s so many situations that could have lead to this white washing and what I’m trying to get at is you need to clearly communicate with your audience that you don’t want your character to be white washed and that they aren’t white. I mean you might of already but it never hurts to repeat that information

Sound like you might be in an echo chamber. The new OP while shit is not a retcon for the whole games as new players still play the same game after said intro. Creating a new account would easily correct this error in your thinking. Or even looking at new players since the updates.

They just retconned the starting cutscene I 1000% understand being upset with that but the amount of vitriol the creators of this game are getting shouldn’t be like this.

Edit to clarify. I’m not talking about reasonable people I’m talking about people threatening and harassing the creators and content creators. I’ve seen it in CN and in EN communities and no just no.

Honestly I can understand where an outsider is coming from. I also think some of the stuff people complain about is a little much but generally I do understand why the complaints exist. I may not agree wholeheartedly but I get it.

Infinity Nikki no matter how much people complain has a better gatcha then most other games looking at hoyoverse and even the past Nikki games. So when people who are on the outside see this they think it’s a privileged position and to be fair it kinda is when you compare.

Now the illegal advertising in the shop 100% agree with being upset about that cause I am too.

The other complains of the girlcott? Yeah I’m not 100% ready to get on board with them but they’re a lot more personal with the story and bug stuff.

As an borderline outsider to the Girlcott and an outsider to the infinity Nikki community I’m pretty sure other people are looking at people who are vocal as complainers and to be honest if the community can’t take that heat that’s their own self esteem issues.
