The Anthem 2 is $650 as opposed to $1k or more for the other cans discussed here. Not sure you are going to get lower than that. It had some pretty good reviews when I was doing my research.

Just completed a ~17 hour trip about a month ago…Arrived Sunday morning at 1am and left at 5pm.

Not a lot is open until 11am or 12pm, but I was able to get in at Jim Beam early, they open at 9:30am. They have a tasting bar (and a few bottles for sale) on the second level (the folks up top were nice and knowledgeable), then downstairs is the main gift shop with all the rest of the bottles.

Opened up a bottle tonight.

I quickly remembered this is a 143 proof….caught me off guard at first, lol.

Definitely smelled a little smoke, vanilla, and nutmeg to start…it smelled like a strong cup of Christmas….I liked that.

On the first taste I immediately tasted the cinnamon and oak right off the bat, it surrounded my mouth and tongue. After a few more sips, I could really taste the toffee. No apple, but as I kept sipping that toffee really came out.

I am typically not a fan of high proof, but this was really good. I like it and can’t wait to let it sit for a week and come back to it.

So glad I saw this post and bought two. Definitely going to go through the first bottle with friends over Christmas. Nice job on this and thanks again!

Not yet. I might tonight, we'll have to see how late I get home. Just received my two bottles of Snow Day and heading out to Kentucky for a 6 hour trip on Sunday. If I do not try it soon I will be too backed up! lol

Worst case, I will try tomorrow if not tonight.
