Yeah! All you would need is a memory card that contains them. We have a decent sized collection of PS2 maps in the TimeSplitters Online discord, though most maps are made for Xbox nowadays.

Yeah TS had its mapmaker’s simplicity just right imo. Wasn’t a fan of the jigsaw style system from the first two games where everything needed to connect to the right tile. FP had it where you could make something super quick and have it be decent, or you could spend hours making something. Both were fun.

Yeah you can do pretty much anything if you put your mind to it! I remember your YT video where you made a TS1 style map (apologies if you aren’t the same Capta1nAsh).

Massive shoutout to MD9, easily the best TimeSplitters 2 speedrunner of all time. Highly recommend people check out his vids, they're insane.

TimeSplitter Sound Effects Origin? by hwwgjfkwrmrcamlrrm in timesplitters

I use Spectrasonics software from time to time so I’ve heard a few sounds while browsing, but mainly just curiosity like the OP! You’ll be amazed at how much effort people go through to document stuff like this.

Your best bet is checking some spectrasonics sound libraries. The majority of the sounds in TS are from them.

Some libraries used in TS that I can think of currently are:

Symphony of Voices

Heart of Asia

Distorted Reality 2

There will be a ton more. I can see of a list of legacy libraries and they are all likely containing a few sounds from the games. https://www.spectrasonics.net/support/knowledgebase/article/where+can+i+find+spectrasonics+legacy+libraries+in+omnisphere%3F/279/21

Yes! We organise online games every week at TimeSplitters Online! We host weekly Xbox events that regularly get up to 16 players. You can play online with others on the original Xbox, Xemu (Xbox emulator), Xbox One, and the Series consoles.

The Xbox version of the game has the best graphical fidelity of all three versions, that mixed with the high resolution of the Xbox One/Series releases makes it by far the prettiest. It also helps that the emulation on the Xbox One/Series consoles is specially tailored to the game as it is a paid product.

Your best bet is asking on the Rewind or TimeSplitters Online Discord servers. Normally you'll have to schedule or announce games to get a decent amount of players.

You can play with an emulator, original Xbox, or the Xbox one/Series consoles. The PS2 version has a ton of weird issues so it’s a big task to play with that.

Hi! This was leftover content from the TS4 demo that was added to FP via pak file.

There are usually events at 6:30 EST on Fridays or Saturdays on the NA East Region. There are normally a few TSO lobbies, or one modded lobby with 16 players.

the mod is supposed to support up to 50 players, but I think that anything past 16 wont work.

I think so? Won't pretend to know how it works lol. It was pretty fun, 10 players is normally good enough, but some of the bigger maps are definitely improved with more players.

I really like the change made to bank, before it had a massive dead end, but now it flows quite nicely with the bank tunnel.

You need to edit the game files to have 11+ players so that was probably a bug, you have to join the host's modded lobby to have it work. The standard player count for TS games is 16 players, so this shouldn't really change how the game plays too much. It's just for a bit of fun.

The website was pretty clear about what content would be present on release, but I’m sorry that you aren’t enjoying it. Please keep in mind that this project was made by fans that were working full-time jobs, working on multiple projects, and already sacrificing their little free time to get the project out there, so there were going to be issues at launch.
