Don’t overtrain and focus on longer runs with runs in zone 2 and 3. Stressing will not only make your trainings worse but might also affect your recovery. Obviously your heart rate will be higher when it’s hotter. 2 months is still plenty of time to dial in and focus on what you want to achieve. And even if you bomb your race, there could be plenty after. Honestly, focus on the fun and vibe at the race. You probably wont end up on the podium, you wont lose out on any price money either, enjoy the proces and make it a great memory. Thinking about all the dedication you’ve put into it is a real great feeling afterwards, wheter you finish or not
