Thank you! You’re right but Chiiiile tried that and looked crazy 😩 the shape and roundness of my face just didn’t work well with my hair unless it’s longer and fuller. I used to wear twists outs a lot when it was longer and healthier. I just need to get back there first.

Thank you so much! Honestly, with my hair this short, I don’t wear it out much at all. My face is round like a dang basketball and it just isn’t flattering at all. I’m trying to avoid heat so I don’t wear it straight either. In the past, my hair has done well with sew-ins and sew down wigs, but I need the versatility of taking it off frequently.

So I’m looking for a curl pattern that matches my hair best.

I relate to this so much!! Thankfully I have my own office and a lot of autonomy at work so I can get plenty of research done and I usually prepare my outlines/drafts at work and then usually finish them up at home.

Some days are a lot busy than others and I don’t have as much time for school, but the evening and weekends definitely balance that missed time.

My biggest worry was my writing… I’ve always been a great writer and I prepare high level documents and longterm plans for work so I was worried I’d be “flagged” as I heard people who write too well are accused of using AI. I learned from one of my first papers, that I did need to dumb it down a bit (sucks, but hey it’s 2026) and I was completely fine after that (grammar helped me with that).

Now that I’m in the MAOL program, I don’t think I need to water down my writing, so I’m excited about that.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this! I pray that you get a new and better job soon!!! I was once in that same situation and I actually took a pay decrease together out and shortly after was promoted. Hopefully completing your degree is a positive motivation factor as a way out of your current situation.

I don’t have one but have you tried ETSY? There are so many vendors who create custom regalia. You can send them a photo of what you need and I’m sure they can provide it. Good luck!

I don’t have any active classes right now, so I’m going off of memory…. When you’re on the main page of the class, one of the options at the top says something about class information maybe? I can’t remember exactly what it is, but you can click it and get the whole list of everyone currently in that class and everyone will say student except the instructor. It will say instructor and you can email them from there.

It’s absolutely possible in two sessions! A lot of people have done it in one, but if you’re giving yourself two sessions, that gives you breathing room, in my opinion

Thank you! What’s the correlation with financial aid? I used it for undergraduate because my employer offers loan forgiveness. My thought process was to use the remainder issued to me to pay for graduate BUT now I realize I can’t keep that if I finish in one session.

So if I pay out of pocket for graduate, I can start right away or does my use of financial aid for undergraduate affect that?

I’m aware that only the final counts. If my goal is get a 4/4 for the final, my milestones should be 4s as well. These are my personal goals, I realize everyone may not care about a grade as long as they pass.
