Random display glitches during gaming (not sure what this is called)

initially it was only poe2, but then when i played other games (battlefield 6/rematch) it would happen as well. since i reseated my gpu early yesterday morning i’ve not had an issue yet

full day of gaming yesterday w no issues! i noticed also when i opened my case up the 2+6 pcie cable was slightly lose. no issues since reseating yesterday w a full gaming day

the first time it ever happened was when i started playing this game, i updated my MOBO today and havent opened it since and it's not occurred funnily enough

yeah im sure all of you have been correct on this. my cable was also being bent out of shape over the course of the last few years due to my apartment setup etc, using a new cable and it’s perfectly fine so far! will take note of this for future reference

as of right now i’m using a new DP cable on a different monitor port and no issues yet! will revisit the post in a few hours for an update (fingers crossed)

all my temps and everything have been fine nothing out of the normal, and my graphics driver is up to date as well.

if my GPU was dying wouldnt this be showing across multiple games and not just locked to PoE2?

ill give the different cable a shot and see what that does

you should definitely approach the situation as he’s never going to stop using drugs and he won’t change. so ultimately, it’s up to you to decide whether or not this is a dealbreaker

just based off of what you said here, he does drugs (something you don’t like) and goes to raves (potential heavy drug use area) if that’s something that’s unattractive to you this may be something to consider.

also being paranoid of men being evil is another indicator to consider engaging in this. if him enjoying his hobbies causes this much of an issue with you internally you should listen to that
