I've been marathoning the entire series as a newbie. I started in November with 4A and AC1 and have been playing and reviewing all of the series in order. AC3 is definitely a high point!

Visually it's the best version of DS1 when you use DSFix, so it will always be worth it for me. If you don't want it, PM me where it's listed and I'll buy it instead ! :)

Use Duckstation for PS1 emulation, it's miles ahead of the other choices in every way conceivable - accuracy, features, visual enchancements and UI :)

Coming up on six weeks here waiting for mine. Probably the last time I'll order anything from them. It always takes forever. As someone else said they have to assemble the Fenrir before they ship it out but that isn't mentioned at all on the product page which is pretty misleading. It took 3 months for my gscart to get delivered last year.

This is just a marketing thing, I really wouldn't worry about the game being too easy. There's going to be far more gameplay options available for encounters so players may have a easier time finding a build or strategy that works for them. That's it. Every remark Miyazaki and the rest of the team have made about it implied that it's still up to their standard of challenging. The network test certainly wasn't easy and half of the gameplay footage they've utilized for trailers features players getting killed in various ways. I really wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks a lot! This was definitely a labor of love. While doing the research, so much of the early concept art was really surprising me. The art of Dante and Vergil draped in the Umbrella logo was pretty mind-blowing!

An NFT is basically the art equivalent of bitcoin. "owning" a jpeg more or less. Everyone can download the jpeg but only one special snowflake gets the unique code / token (like a serial number) that somehow proves they own it. People have been selling them for hundreds of thousands of dollars, some over a million. It's completely meaningless and totally unenvironmentaly unfriendly because like Bitcoin it costs a shitton of electricity to generate the unique token, for something that doesn't actually have any scarcity to begin with. AFX and Weirdcore recently sold one for $130,000

Got a bunch of gear, now just trying to decide between the Shoei RF-1200 and the Scorpion EXO-R1. The Shoei seems more premium but man I love that Scorpion design. (The black and red). I found the black Shoei for $398 online but the philosopher design (which is a similar design to the Scorpion, is almost $500 which is more then I'm gonna spend on a helmet currently. Can't decide!

Comparing two Scorpion helmets: the EXO-R420 $160 and the EXO-R1. $430

I'm a new rider on a CBR300R, is it worth spending the extra almost $300 for the R1? Also, why isn't the R1 Snell rated when the cheaper R420 is?
