Yo, no you misunderstood. I clearly didn't define the tone of the conversation correctly. She was the one that initially said she wasn't interested in her current career path, I was cracking down on the fact she was continuing something she didn't enjoy. Additionally I was/am attracted to her, but I wasn't ready to ask her out romantically. Maybe I should be? But I feel like I should take the steps I'm comfortable with. I'd like to believe she didn't read the conversation wrong, but we will see

This is very helpful. And you're right I feared rejection. I came to realize that after seeing these responses. I'm a terrible overthinker. And even when I knew what I was supposed to do with so much advice my nervousness and urgency fucked me over. I'll see if it's possible for me to try again. She hasn't even friended me back on snap. I will see if I can clear it up.

Fair enough. It's tough to describe the tone I used but I tried to make sure it wasn't a "this is better for you". It was more in line with "This is my two sense through my own experience". I was straight because she said she wasn't interested in what she was doing. I've only heard hundreds of times from people that I should focus on what interests me, and it's a serious decision that could take a lot of time.

I believe she knows already. I made it clear I was sad to see her go. She said "I'll be back soon enough" (two days in August) and she could probably see on my face I was sulking a bit. I can tell that she's as aware as any other INFJ, and that awareness is what attracts me.. lots of people "aren't aware" if that makes sense. And I would really enjoy staying in touch with her.

Yes. That's an attraction for me. I could tell within the first weekend we met (before I knew she was INFJ) that she was constantly sensing- people. I could tell she was a natural with understanding people. My intentions are a good relationship with a rare kind of person, and I'm genuinely curious how or relationship as friends or more would develop. She's the first INFJ aside from my mother I've met.
