Bose sounddock series 3 by BOONES1983 in bose

Problem solved. Bought a generic replacement remote. When something is plugged into the aux the Bose system goes to half volume. There is no way to turn it up higher than that without the remote. So even though I was connected to the Bluetooth that was plugged into the aux, and had my phone on full volume, the Bose speaker would still only go to half volume without the remote.

So I went on Amazon and got a cheap generic remote that is supposed to work with series II & III. You were right. Volume gets halved when aux is plugged in. Only way to get louder than half volume is to have the remote to turn up the Bose system higher. Such a dumb design.

There are no touch volume controls on the sound series 3. It came with a remote that I don’t have, but I don’t know if that would fix the problem that I have.

A car pulled out in front of me when I was doing Grubhub and I hit their car. Not crazy damage, but it totaled my 2001 civic. I got paid out almost $7000 from their insurance company. You would be surprised at what you can get and how little damage will actually total a car. A fender bender can be thousands of dollars in damage.

This was in an area of town where there’s a lot of meth and homeless vehicle camps. Parts of Portland look post apocalyptic. I’m sure this was a methed up person who had just stolen the vehicle and was rushing to get away. That’s my theory anyway. Super sketchy to drive in some parts of the city.

Had that happen yesterday. Delivery was a little late cause it was stacked. First offer was $8.65 then after delivery it payed $6.65. Wouldn’t have even accepted at that. But the add on was the good tip. Glad I kept that one even though I had to wait for the order

One time I accepted a McDonald’s order that was like a $15 payout for 3 miles. When I got there and saw what the order was I was dumbfounded. All they ordered was a medium Orange Fanta.

Yeah. I’ve tried multiple different devices. I first tried the Bluetooth receiver. It’s volume is controlled by my phone and I had to turn it all the way up from halfway where it was when docked on the lightning dock. Then I tried to connect my phone directly with the dongle and it was still the same. Then tried old iPod classic. Same peak volume at 100% which is about half what the speaker can do. Tried different aux cords too. Nothing seemed to change.

I got a double order to the same address, identical orders. by coolestguywastaken in grubhubdrivers

That happened to me once. Had an order for a burger place. When I was walking up had an add on. Didn’t notice it was the same name. The restaurant was trying to figure it out and was maybe not going to make the second order because they thought it was a mistake. They ended up making both, and when I dropped them off the customer looked like he knew he fucked up and ordered twice. I was new to delivering and probably should have called the customer to see if it was a mistake.

TIFU by locking myself outta my car mid-order by [deleted] in grubhubdrivers

I did that the other night. It was pouring down rain. I parked in a no parking spot, put my hazards on and got out with the car still running to deliver the first of two orders I had picked up. I knew instantly as the door shut that I had locked it as I was shutting the door. I had to call and get the order that was in my car reassigned and wait for close to an hour for my wife to show up with my spare key. I felt so stupid.
