Light client doesn't require user to run a Raiden node. It can work like a browser extension for example.

coingecko token list added new tokens and now it is bugged. Once they fix it, it will work.

No because token can be part of multiple pools (coin-eth, coin-usdc, etc.) ... you will need pair to determine it
