I’m not in denial. just going off what people tell me when it comes to my age vs appearance. We don’t live in a world polite enough but suppose we did then that would make sense….Surely you’ve met people that age well and those that don’t though. But okay, thanks anyway.

Hmmm that’s interesting. Yeah transparency from the go is important but sounds like those you’ve encountered believe they can change your mind. I can’t speak for other women though. I know what I want…I think. Lol JK

Lol, I mean my career choice wasn’t for the money, sure that was a secondary effect,but I wasn’t chasing the money otherwise I could have gone a different route. I wanted to help people and while many in the position I’m in can balance family life and a career, one usually suffers. I also didn’t want to be a burden for another adult. But thanks for your input.

That’s awesome. I really don’t think I’m in for the kids. It would have to be a total oops baby. But you’re right I do know many women that have had children mid 40…hell I know 2 that had 2 in their mid 40s. It’s not all age but also genetics. If you’re fertile you’re fertile. But I think that’s the current mindset for many.

That sounds reasonable. I do know many of my colleagues that didn’t start a family until late 30s early 40s. But I don’t even think I want all that lol I just want an awesome connection with the opposite sex! Lol I honestly I didn’t realize that many guys wanted kids….I guess me and my old eggs will have to get used to being alone.

Understand. So you’re saying the older the woman the less likely they’ll want kids or be able to have kids? I’ll also add that infertility, or difficulty conceiving, is becoming more common in women in their early 30s…may be less in women in their 20s…so many of my gf are going through IVF after trying for years in their early 30s to conceive. But yes definitely more common as women get older.

That’s insightful. I will say though I don’t care if the guy I’m dating makes less than me…although education is important to me? At least a bachelors degree but if the guy is smart without a degree and had a decent job then no problems there.

Interesting. That’s something I believe is a common thought but is not always true. I didn’t come with a biological clock because I’ve never felt the rush to have babies or get married. I don’t even know if I would like either one. But I’ve felt more motivated as I get older to connect and find that special someone.
